The pill is white, round, small, has a slash on one side that looks just like the 1mg R59 ativan, but on the other side it has a 59, then what looks like a D which is at an angle to the 59. ## I just got a refill for my ativan--except that my old bottle had pills with the R59 and my new one has the D59 that joe's talking about. Is there a difference between the two? Because I'm suppose to be taking the same pill... ## Never mind; I called my pharmacy when it opened. They said the R and D aren't really R and D; they're symbols of the company that makes them. They're made by the same company, though. This company recently changed their symbol from "R" to "D". it's still the same ativan/lorazepam. ## I think i have the same thing. I haven't been ...

I have a small white round pill with a preforated line on one side and blank on the other side. The pill is not flat, but rather curved on each side and the edges are flat. The size is small. It is supposed to be Citra Tramadol, but nothing tells me that it is. I'm guessing from Mexico. How can I be sure? ## I'm sorry, but the operative word here is Mexico. They really don't regulate much of anything, nor do they require imprints on medications. So basically what I'm saying is your guess is as good as mine as to what this might be. There's just really no way to be sure and the best thing to do would be to just dispose of it properly. Where did you find it? ## yes.. it has to be, because my cousin gets them from MX and as you described em small white round (( scored )...

It's a small white round pill with no markings or lines on it. Completely blank. Almost looks like on one side as if it has something dropped on it. Hard to tell. I looked at it pretty close with glasses and still hard to see. He does consume cannabis but his friends have been known to do other substances so I am concerned. ## @MomofTeen, When you mention that it looks like something may have been dropped on it, are you referring to an indentation or perhaps just the way it's shaped/manufactured? Personally I think it would be best to sit down with your son and carry forth a calm/open minded, yet, firm conversation asking what he knows about this pill. Considering that it's your roof he's living under, you should have a right to know what substances are coming in and out...

What is it ??? An aspirin for children or what??? Thanks for your time ## Hello, Coop! How are you? It's actually difficult to say, since they are no markings, I can say that it is most likely an over the counter product, since all prescription tablets in the U.S. must have imprints. However, that does leave it open to a lot of possibilities. It could be a children's medication, something for adults, or even just a supplement. There are many blank, round, white pills among over the counter products. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else have an idea of what this might be? ## Melatonin a sleep aid that is over the counter to help you sleep.

found it in my teenage sons pocket in a brown glass bottle ,the pill is 3mm in diam and 2mm thick ,the bottle is 1inch long, what could it be? ## What markings (most pills have numbers and or letters on both sides) are on it and is it scored(does it have a line down the middle?) You might be able to identify it that way. ## Since the post title states that it has no markings, we can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription tablet, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. That leaves it open to being something that's available over the counter, since they aren't required to have imprints, a foreign medication or an illicit substance. Have you asked your son about it? ## It's most likely 100mg caffeine. I have a box of the same pills matchin...

Bitter taste round thin kinda med size no markings no lines nothing ## Hello, Kia! How are you? If there are no markings, we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. Unfortunately, that leaves it open to many possible over the counter products. I'll do some searching and post back, when I have some information for you. Does anyone else have an idea of what this might contain? ## Well best way to find out is chew it up and sit back to experience the outcome. We will see how it makes me feel. Let you know tomorrow, if I'm still here among y'all living. ## I received blister packs but they're 2mg Rivotril Martin Dow pills that have no markings and are white and not flat on either side....

I have a massive toothache and was looking through my old prescriptions for something for pain. I found a bottle that the label is faded from being kept on the windowsill and was wondering what the pills were. They are small, white with a fancy V on one side and blank on the other. Any ideas? It's early Saturday morning and I can't get to the dentist until Tuesday and Tylenol isn’t cutting it anymore. ## I'm sorry, but there aren't any prescription pain medications that just have a V on them, they all have additional numbers or letters. If this only has a V then it is only logical to conclude that it's something that's available over the counter and I'm sorry to say that leaves the possible options very wide open as to what it may be. This is an antidepressant generic and I wonder if anyone has been taking this pill. I am wondering if generics are potent enough to take care of depression, social anxiety and compulsive disorders. Please identify. ## Hello, Toni! How are you? I think you might be misunderstanding generic medications. There can be slight differences between them and the name brands, but slight is the operative word. The allowable difference is plus or minus 20%, which means yes, they are still potent enough to work. Occasionally, some people that are sensitive to medications may have problems with a generic, or they may find that one doesn't work as well for them, if they've been taking the name brand for a very long time, but it's not common for this to happen. Is there anything else I can ...

My friend takes 8mg subutex and when he picked up his script today, they weren't the usual white tablet. They were white and the size of a 2mg subutex with an 8 on one side and an arrow on the other. Could his pharmacist have made a big mistake or are these just a different brand?? ## From what I can tell these tablets do contain 8mgs of Buprenorphine, the active ingredient in Subutex. They were originally released in the U.k. and then became available in the U.S. when the generic market for the medication opened up here. So yes, just a different manufacturer, they are made by Arrow, which explains the logo on the tablet, they use that on all of their products. I want to know the name or salt name of the tablet my dr. gave to me opened and in a plastic pack with two other tablets named arkamin and clonazepam for dioxide opium addiction. The reason I want to know the name of this small round white tablet is because he gave me too expansive. Only this tablet and every time he gave me after opened from package and in small plastic bag if I know the name of tablet I confirm from market then I ask him why he gave me these tablets too expensively. Can you help me and tell me the name of tablet? ## I have "Clonazepam" hopefully, with one side blank (No Markings) and the other crossed (one line). White pill is Round Flatl With Line Only On One Side ## Hi, if there are no markings, then we can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription medication. They are all required to have markings to enable their identification. That means that it is most likely some type of over the counter product, which leaves it open to many, many possibilities. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Where did you find it? Does anyone else have any ideas?

Suboxone aka buprenorphine. Opiate blocker used to treat opioid dependency. ## Just to confirm, a white round pill imprinted with D 155 is identified as 'generic' Buprenorphine hydrochloride 8 mg (base) + Naloxone hydrochloride 2 mg (base). Manufacturer: Actavis Elizabeth LLC Depending on the application form, buprenorphine is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe chronic pain, opioid dependency (as Tweek stated above), and for peri-operative analgesia. I hope this helps anyone who may still be trying to ID this pill! ## For those who find this post. the "D" is not actually a "D" but it is a crescent moon which is the logo of the company. So if you call the pharmacy asking about a "D", they cannot find it. It is a crescent moon on one side and...
