Have a pill and don't know what it is. It is fairly small, light orange, round, scored on one side and just the number 5 on the other side. Any idea what it is? ## I'm not 100% certain, since the imprint is rather vague, but there is a 5mg Citalopram tablet that meets this description. It is an SSRI class antidepressant and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dry mouth and weight changes. You can learn more Citalopram details here. Is there anything I can help with? ...

It had a line on one side and an s on the other side very small and orange ## Hi lulu, I haven't found a definitive match, but from what little bit I could gather there are reports suggesting that this particular pill may contain 40mgs of Famotidine (Durater), made by a company called Senosiain Labs in Mexico. If this is the case, it would help explain why references are so hard to come by on US search engines. Apparently they list it as being "peach" colored and not orange. It's also reported to be about a quarter of an inch in diameter; but maybe you could try contacting the manufacturer directly to see if they can verify this for you. More details (although in spanish) on this medication from Senosiain Labs can also be viewed here: ...

small round orange pill with a number five on it ## Hi Tiff, There's actually two different pills that fit this description. The first is Bisacodyl (5 mg), which is typically prescribed for relief of constipation. And the other pill is Citalopram hydrobromide (10 mg); which is an antidepressant drug used to treat major depression associated with mood disorders. Do either of these two drugs sound familiar? The Bisacodyl pill appears to be more of a shiny reflective color of orange with the number 5 in black font if that helps! My dr prescribed this pill and told me it's a sleeping pill to help me sleep better and relax but looking it up doesn't say anything about being a sleeping pill. Small orange square pill M on one side other side has line to divide and split pill. I found a small round peach/orange colored pill. One side says AP. The other side has only a line through the middle. Scoured the net but cant find an answer. Anyone know what it is? ## @reaperfields, Do you know any information on where this pill was found or where it may have originated from? Like you, I can't seem to locate any specific details for it on the web. But given the circumstances this leads me to believe that it's probably not your typical US-based prescription drug (which are generally not too difficult for the public to identify with the amount of resources we have available at our finger tips). I have a hunch that it may fall into one or more of the categories below: Over-the-counter Discontinued Foreign If anyone else recognizes this as being something differen... ...
