My medication has been changed from Zimvastatin to Atorvastatin since which time I have experienced severe pain in joints throughout my body and especially in the joints in my spine. I m taking Atocor 80 mg for ladt 8 month now. Feeling joint pain specially my legs and thigh joints. Actully last year my total cholestrol was 8.5 then I started ad my dictor prescribed to take for 1 year or more. I am taking Olmat 40h + Embeta 100mg in the morning as well as Olmat 40mg in the evening + Atorva 5mg at night. My blood pressure is 140/90 in the morning and 160/90 in the evening. Would I have to take these medications for life? What are their side effects? I am 63 years old. ## You may have to take them for the rest of your life, to keep your blood pressure under control. However, if it does come down to normal levels, you may be able to reduce how many you are taking, or lower their dosages, in the future. Mother 69 yrs chronic dry cough 3 months..changed bp medication from pinom20 to cilacar 2 months back no improvement in cough..now ongoing treatment for seasonal allergies..still no improvement in cough ## Somewhat similar for myself.but I am also taking shelcal os 500 and zyq10. Initially I stopped piñon 20 cough improved ..now again it has started.I am also afraid to stop in fear thT my bp will go up.please suggest remedy ## Cocerned sin, how long has she been taking the Atorvastatin? I have been taking Istamet 50/500 regularly in the morning. Can it cause any side effects to the kidney or any other part of the body? I've been taking it for the last 2 years. I get sick since taking aspavor 10 mg. I am dizzy. I was earlier taking Deplatt A 75/75 after lunch and atorva 10 before bed at night. Last week the prescription was changed as i was complaining of gas and sleeplessness to just clopitorva 10/75 at night. Now i suffer from severe hip and knee joint pains at late night thro morning which often the lasts whole day.
