Hi I started on this drug 100mg twice a day for a suspected UTI infection this is the second day and I have terrible Diarrhea..I also have a rectal/vaginal fistula so you can imagine I have fecal leakage .my poo is not exactly watery and no blood as far as I can tell.I need to know if I should stop this med now or will the symptoms ease ..I feel Dizzy and have been slightly sick.please can you help me .Thank you . ## Diarrhea can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to the NIH, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. It should go away about a week, or so, after you finish your course of treatment. Are you on any other medications?

I was on ciprofloxin for a persistant ear infection, I felt good while on the antibiotics but now they have finished I feel generally lethargic, a upset stomach and a slight ear ache. Could this just be an after effect as the antibiotics wear off, because of damage to my immune system? ## this site is not medical professionals, so it is impossible for us to say with any certainty. I have a UTI and was taking urovec with tetracycline for 1 day and the discomfort of the uti has not subsided at all! I want to switch over and start taking amoxicillin asap which has worked really well in the past. Are there any complications I should be aware of by starting the amoxicillin 4 hours after taking the urovec with tetracycline? ## No, you can usually just make a smooth transition from one to the other. I recently had a hip resurfacing 6 weeks ago and am doing well, no pain etc, last week i went on Amoxicillian 500/125mg 10 day course for a sinus infection and i now have hip pain a real stitch in my groin, could this be related to my infection or the amoxicillian? it's a worry as it's making me limp again, can any one advise me. ## I take antibiotics 500 and a looks of bumps come out on my skin

How long do the side effects of Fortaz last after you stop taking it? ## Hi Mary - I did not find specific information as far as how long you could be experiencing side effects after stopping the drug. I know from my own experience that it can be weeks in the case of other antibiotics. You might consider calling the manufacturer Teligent Pharma at 856-697-1441. DailyMed also has a pretty detailed list of possible adverse effects. May I ask what you are experiencing?

Took a dose 1/21/2011. Started getting hives 2/15/2011, and continue to get them weekly. From what I have seen on the internet, I would say I have angioedema. I have a chest infection. Dr prescribed 1 and a half pulmison for 5 days and clarahexal antibiotic for 10 days. I have had a terrible headache all day from the pulmison and nothing takes the pressure headache away. I have taken stillpayne, disprin and used voltaren supp. How long does it take for pulmison to leave the body and for the headache to go?

Hi....For the last 2 days I am suffering from loose motions and fever. The doctor that I went to today prescribed Clavicef. Frankly I am scared about this drug. Because in the past I have seen that any medication / antibiotics prescribed for stomach upsets usually worsen my condition and I end up being hospitalized. I have been using oralcon f for a long time about two years. Then I had stopped for about three months. I started taking them back on my first day of my menstrual cycle again.
