What happens if Novelon is taken from 27th day of cycle instead of 5th day of cycle..? I took it from 27th day and now after consumption of about 15-16 tablets have stopped ..my periods started ..however there is no actual menstrual flow ? Is that ok?

i had a cyst in my right ovary doctor prescribed me to take novelon for 3 month 21 tablets from the fifth day of my period.i completef one month course and in next month i missed 4 days in taking the tablets on fifth day when i take the medicine my period started again.so i stopprd my tablets again now what do i do ## Continue taking them, as prescribed by our doctor, unless they instruct otherwise. There is no need to stop, just because you had some bleeding from missing several tablets, that is completely normal. From one month my period is going on and,my doctor gives me this novelon tablet for 21 days.But is it right to take because when I read ,it is a contraceptive pill.Then why it is prescribed by doctor to me. ## Novelon contains hormones which can help balance yours out to stop the bleeding, which is most commonly caused by a hormonal imbalance. Hi, I was wondering if I can stop using novelon. It's side effects are too much I am not able to sleep because of the nausea and irritation. I have a cyst for which I am asked to get a surgery done. Another doc asked me to take novelon for a month but it is not at all comfortable. Will there be an issue if I stop it? I have taken 1 tablet of novelon yesterday night and since this morning I have been feeling acidity up and down. I think it's because of the tablet. Should I discontinue? If I discontinue will I have periods? Also, can I start primolut-N today instead of novelon? Plz answer. ## Hello, Syed! How are you? How long ago did you give birth? It is normal to bleed for several weeks, after having a baby. And yes, if you discontinue it, it may throw your hormones off and cause you to have a period.
