White pill, oblong, aprox length 1 inch,blank on one side, #303 on the other side ## The only thing I can find listed as a white oblong, with the numbers 303 on it is a 500mg enteric coated Naproxen tablet. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Learn more Naproxen details here. I only found one listing, though, so I am not 100% certain of this identification. Does anyone else recognize this, or confirm this ID?

It isn't the shapes, sizes or colors that matter, that is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Some of them will use different colors or shapes to make it easier to distinguish one dose from another, but they do not have to do so. The mandate under law by the FDA, is that all manufactured prescription medications must have unique markings on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Do the shapes / colors or numbers on a pill or manufacturer have anything to do with which pill is stronger if the are the same mg? ## That can be an indicator of strength, however not always? Pills range from .25 mg to 2 mg with a 3 mg extended release version. Size is a factor as well, a 2 mg "School Bus" or "Pie" & the 3 mg ER are larger than your 1 mg dose. There are also illegal Xanax that claim to be up to 5 mg or more. I've also seen 100mg tablets that are oblong and violet in color. Please note however that these depictions are based on stock images and may not accurately represent their true color.
