Sertraline Side Effects

Took one 25mg tablet of sertraline lfeel horrible. IM lightheaded, dizzy, naseous, and can't eat or even smoke a cigarette! Is this normal after just one dose? If I stand to long I feel faint and all I can do is lay in bed. Hi I took 50mg of sertraline on Saturday and felt a bit ill then took my second tablet on the Sunday and it made me feel terrible high levels of agitation I was really bad thought something was gonna happen i felt that bad. It's now Wednesday and although I feel not to bad I still feel the drug is in my system after only two tablets and get waves of weirdness come over me it comes and goes i get sweaty hands my pupils are small slight blur on vision still too just not right but better than I was. Sertraline 50 what are the withdrawal symptoms please help I have to stop taking these. ## Hello, Denise! How are you? If you can, it is best to taper slowly, to prevent the worst of the withdrawal effects. The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, fever, chills, diarrhea, rebound depression, body aches and rebound anxiety. I've recently been to visit my doctor about my anti depressants. I've been getting CITALOPRAM 30MG DAILY, but they wasn't working anymore. My doctor has started me with SERTRALINE 50MG DAILY, INCREASING TO 100MG next week. Hey everyone. I just started zoloft today and I have been having really bad side effects the past few hrs. Increased anxiety, sweating, nausea, i just feel awful. I have sertraline, the pill has an imprint if IG on one side and 214 on the other. It is oblong and a very light yellow color. I have read something about the two being the same. How does Sertrailine measure with Zoloft. Is this a generic drug and is it as successful in controlling depression? ## They are one and the same, Zoloft is just the brand name for Sertraline, so that is what's used for the generic name.
