Running Nose Syrup

My daughter is 15 months old, can I give her Relent syrup for running nose, cough and mild fever. ## My doughter is three years old can i given her relant syrup for running nose & fever ## Cough running nose and fever it is simply viral illness relent syp ortivin p drop and syp crocin is sufficient for this ## My son is 4 years 3 month old he s having cough and cold am giving junior Alex and montair syrup together for two weeks but still he s having cough I want to know that montair syrup is for cough or cold ## No cough, only khuk khuk khashi. When he slept, there was no khashi. No fever. Energy level is high. Only problem is that when he wakes up khashi starts. In low sound. He's 5 years old and I gave him Relant syrup two times a day. Is it OK? 3.5ml syrup.

My 2 year old kid has slight running nose,cough and cold. is this the right medicine. ? ## Yes u can use Demazin Syrup 200ml or banadryl syrup is effectively cure cough, cold flu , running nose. I have used banadryl. it is very effective syrup.

My 8 year old son's throat is hurting. Is Relent effective for throat infections or a dry cough? ## What has your child's doctor advised? Relent Syrup contains Cetirizine and Ambroxol, it will not treat a throat infection and may be limited in what it will do for a cough. Do we get relent syrup seperately for babies or its the same 60ml bottle?Is it safe to give relent+ syrup for 5 months old baby? ## Relent syrup contains cetirizine 2.5 mg + ambroxol 30 mg; per 5mL From what I could gather, the prescribing information for this drug notes the following: Children: 6 month's - 2 years old: 2.5 mg once daily (up to 2.5 mg bid in children =12 months). There are no dosing indications for children under 6 months of age, but since your child is only 1 month away from that, I would suggest talking to your doctor about this just to be on the safe side. I have chest congestion and want to know which medication would work best for me. Promethazine vc syrup or mucinex ## Use Mucinex, don't use promethiazine it's not very safe with any continued use. It wouldn't help your congestion anyway, it's mainly for extreme nausea. ## (A second opinion): I would also recommend Mucinex for the same reason that Steve suggested. Also, you may want to consider cutting out any dairy products from your diet as they are mucous forming and can work against Mucinex in terms of clearing the congestion sooner rather than later. I am having a mild fever with a cough and cold and running nose since 4 days. I've taken paracetamol & Leon but my fever is still not going away and neither is the cold. ## A cold is caused by a virus, so an antibiotic will not help with that. An antibiotic will only help with a bacterial infection. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
