the first time I bought pharex it was a small white round pill. After i consumed them I bought another 20 pills. But this time the pill is white with pink discoloration on it. I brought it back to the drug store and they opened another tablet from their box and it too has a pink discoloration. The expiration on the the wrapper says 01 14. I would like to know the real appearance of the pill. ## I'm sorry, but I really can't provide you with any information from the details you've provided. From what I have found, Pharex is a manufacturer of medications from the Philippines, it is not the actual name of a medication. They make quite a few different generic medications. Can anyone Identify this white round pill with the Cobalt logo on one side and 150 on the other? Here's a photo. ## Hi Jason, Based on my research, others have identified this pill as Ranitidine (150 mg), from Canada. However, because I cannot verify this for myself, I have also emailed Cobalt Pharma for a confirmation of the ID; and am expecting a reply back from them sometime within the next couple days or so. Ranitidine is commonly used in treatment of peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease. Ranitidine is also used alongside fexofenadine and other antihistamines for the treatment of skin conditions such as hives. My mother takes losartan 25 mg, but her last Rx was filled with a white round pill, with a D on one side and 572 on the other side. She said it gives her a severe headache. Could this be an Rx filling error? ## The pill with a logo and the number 572 on the opposite side does contain 25mgs of Losartan, an ARB that is commonly used to help control high blood pressure. Has her blood pressure been checked, since she started taking these tablets? There can be differences in generic medications, the FDA does allow them to differ in the active ingredient by as much as plus or minus 20%, they consider this an acceptable therapeutic window. For most people, the difference has no effect, but some people are very sensitive to medications and can suffer problems with the slightest fluctuation of t... ...

CG on one side U|R on the other side white, and round ## I've glanced through many pills, but I have to say that this is another enigma that isn't showing in any of our databases. I've even tried looking under the imprints separately, in case there was an error in one. It could be an over the counter item or a foreign medication. There is also a chance that it is something new, that hasn't been logged in the databases, yet. Do you have any other information? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## CG on one side U|R on the other! I have those, that is 25mg Baclofen (generic) - Lioresal is the factory name (on the box).
