It may cause drowsiness and it can be habit forming. (Photo here: Pill Image) ## Thank you for providing such a thorough pill identification, description and image for reference. For additional verification, I also wanted to add that this pill is reportedly manufactured by Alvogen Inc. and carries a National Drug Code of 47781-0536. Red Round Pill Engraved With A R, got from a friend that said it was Tramadol 225mg, but havent been able to identify it. pls help i gonna eat it tomorrow TY!! =) ## Hi Robin, A R is a pretty vague imprint, and I definitely haven't found any matches that lead me to believe it's Tramadol. The only thing I've found that somewhat matches the imprint is Aricept (23 mg). It is a reddish brown pill with ARICEPT engraved into the front and 23 engraved into the back. Aricept belongs to the drug class cholinesterase inhibitors and used in the treatment of alzheimer's disease. Manufacturer: Eisai Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 62856-0247 I'm guessing you may have already taken the pill (hopefully with no adverse reactions) seeing as you don't seem to know what it is. If yo...

Hello this white pill with 243 on it should be a generic name for norvasc 10mg its should be the generic name amlodipine besylate 10mg ## Yes, that is correct. That tablet with the U 243 marking does contain 10mgs of Amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker. This medication is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Typical side effects may include dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, headache, increased urination, stomach pain and dry cough. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I I'm taking Amlodipine Besylate 10mg tab 128 c. When I went to go get my 3 month refill they gave me 243 u 10mg. Is that the same medication? Why is the pill much bigger. Please advise.

Small round pill with the letter "N" on one side and "24" on the other ## Hi Tim, Based on the description provided, I haven't found an exact match to your pill, but the imprint gives me an idea of who the manufacturer may be. Novopharm (a Canadian based drug company) happens to manufacturer other white round pills with a similar imprint (e.g. N 10, N 20). NOTE: Novopharm is now known as Teva-Canada. I would actually recommend contacting them directly regarding your inquiry, since it might end up being one of their own. Posted below are the company's contact details: Medical Affairs and Drug Information English Inquiries: 1-800-268-4127 ext. 1255005 [email protected] I hope this info helps!

Round white pill with 2410 V on it, what is it? ## Found a match! it's Carisoprodol 350 mg, which is a centrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant whose active metabolite is meprobamate. Manufacturer: Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code: 00254-2410 (Discontinued) Hope this helps! ## Generic Soma is carisoprodol, which is a precursor of meprobamate. It is not meprobamate itself; but it is in the same class of drugs called dicarbamate derivatives. They do not relax skeletal muscle tissue directly--they relax the body through their sedative properties. And carisoprodol--brand name Soma--is not nearly as potent as meprobamate (brand names: Equanil, Miltown) which is a Schedule IV controlled substance. Carisoprodol is not controlled, it is Rx Only--unscheduled. But it does hav...

white pill ## This pill is a 325 mg aspirin tablet. It is CVS Pharmacy brand, is uncoated, and is caffeine and sodium free. The only other ingredient in them is starch, which holds the pill together, as aspirin is very powdery. It's a value product, but while cheap, it is also effective. I bought a bottle of 1000 of these pills for 10 dollars. When I get a headache I take four of them, two 500 mg acetaminophen pills, and a 200 mg caffeine pill (caffeine speeds up the effectiveness of these drugs). If you've only got one of these, take it for a headache. If you've got ten bucks, go get another thousand. ## round white pill with large numbers 249 ## @derf yeltneb, Based on my research, the pill you have could possibly be the 325 mg Acetaminophen mentioned above, or Escitalopra...

I found one of these round bright yellow coated pills. It's a bit smaller than a dime. Imprint 903, no mistaking it for any other numbers. No imprint on the other side. Kind of thick. Very curious about what it is? Potassium Chloride Er 10 Meq? ## In my investigation, Potassium Chloride Er 10 Meq has a different pill description altogether. For verification, you can click on the following National Drug Code link [0245-0041] to view a photo and more specific details. Whereabouts did you find this tablet? And is there any reason to believe that it may still contain Potassium Chloride? I'm guess I'm just wondering what made you think that this is what it was, as I'm not able to locate any information on this pill imprint. Does anyone else here recognize this as being someth...
