Red And Grey Capsule No Marking

Found a red and grey capsule with white powder and no markings - what is it? I cant find it anywhere. ## The FDA requires all prescription products in the U.S. to have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency, so this is most likely an over the counter product, of some type, though there is a small chance it was a specially compounded medication, or something from a foreign source. Is anyone else familiar with a capsule matching this description?

Red and gray solid retangle pill Red ## Do you mean that it has an L imprint on it? If so, while it's hard to be completely certain, because over the counter product markings tend to be very vague, I believe this may be a generic or store brand of Tylenol, which contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen.

I was told this was an antibiotic, but just want to be sure. (NDC 00045-0229) Manufacturer: McNeil Consumer Healthcare The imprint "TY S CP" stands for "Tylenol Sinus Congestion & Pain Daytime" ## I am not 100% certain, but it sounds like a Tylenol Rapid Release, they all have the TY marking, followed by other markings on the other color. The gray band is meant to allow the medication to release faster, so you don't have to wait as long for them to work. We found this capsule in our home. It has Ty on the Red end and 500 on the Blue end. In the middle Grey are some white markings (look like dots). ## Found a match it's Acetaminophen 500 mg, which is used for the relief of fever, headaches, and other minor aches and pains, and is a major ingredient in numerous cold and flu remedies. i have a ppd allergy and cannot take sulphur based medicine, i was on a course of amoxycillin which made my face swell as they use sunset yellow which is a sulphur based dye in the capsule, i went back the docs and she gace me flucloxacillin which are in a red and grey capsule, they too have coulourings in them, i need to know if any of the ingredients are sulphur based, can u please help as im afraid to take them ## Can you post back with the markings on them?
