My pulse rate is 60 at night I am afraid it is going to drop too low. Is this possible ? Is 60 too low ? My BP is is still normal high I take lisinapril 10 mg and I take a half of metoprolol 25 mg so wondering info should worry about my pulse being low ## My Pulse has been as low as 41 during the day and I assume even lower at night. Cardio didn't really care. ## Hello, Kari! How are you doing? 60 is still considered normal and generally, your pulse will go lower at night, due to the fact that you are resting and not being as active. You should double check with your doctor, but usually, if you aren't having any symptoms, such as dizziness and shortness of breath, it is nothing to worry about. Rod, what were the circumstances? Those details have to be taken under consideration.

Is Ziac medication will damage my heart in a long run, my pulse rate before was between 60 and 70. Now that I'm taking this Ziac for my high blood pressure my pulse rate is between 47 and 55 usually it's low in the morning. My ex-husband was taking Ziac also for his high blood pressure and his pulse rate become so low from 44 down to 38, he went to the emergency room right away and the doctor decided to put a pacemaker connected to his heart. ## Hello, Rose! How are you? It is normal for this medication to lower your pulse rate, somewhat, that's part of how it helps your blood pressure. It relaxes the blood vessels, but should not do actual damage. If they installed a pacemaker for your ex-husband, then it's likely they found that his going that low was due to some other...

For me, today is day 8 of taking lercanidipine 10mg pills. I get a side effect. When I eat a meal after taking a pill, my pulse rate goes up to 80 per minute, and takes between 2 and 3 hours to go back to normal, 65. I do not eat too soon after taking a pill; I wait at least an hour. I worry that the 'racing heart' side effect combined with my high blood pressure - typically 160/110 at present - will give me a heart attack or stroke. Should I continue to take the pills? Will the side effect go away eventually? Of course, I will ask my doctor for advice, but I would be pleased to get other opinions. ## Avoid taking the Lercanidipine with fatty meals. It increases the bodies absorbtion of the drug. Take it at least 30 minutes before a meal. Try taking the Lercanidipine halfway bet...

Do I continue taking them this way? Can Metoprolol & Chlorthalidone & Estropipate & Allopurinol be taken at the same time? ## If your doctor has prescribed them all for you, you should follow their instructions. In december I developed bad tooth pain and a sore on the gum in a left molar. I have a heart murmer and my blood press.rose to a high level but was erratic and other times a normal rate. I called a dentist and he said to go to the ER. I did and they prescribed amoxicillin at 500mgs every 8 hrs. The last dose was on Jan 3, 2013 and by then the tooth problem was gone. I went to a dentist and he found no infections but said a molar on the opposite side which had lost some filling should be repaired soon. I made an appt. with him, but in the meantime it developed a blister near the root and soreness at the gumline. Also I started having erratic BP swings again sometimes 160/105 and resting pulse to 88. When I called he said to cancel his appt and go to the ER again, he didn't think the ...

First day I took 30 mg and I had a headache, disorientation, very high pulse rate felt like my heart would beat out of my chest. ## Did you mean you are taking it and you are also diabetic? Can you please post back and clarify? Cymbalta is an antidepressant that is also used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, weight changes, and mood swings. Are you on any other medications?

I filled a prescription for Viagra from a Canadian Pharmacy. I took my first pill and ended up with three seizures, extremely high blood pressure and a pulse rate of 109. There was no activity. This stuff is dangerous and almost killed me. When the ambulance showed up, I was conscious so I did not get dragged to the hospital. Not the day we had planned. ## Do you know anything about the pills you received? Since you ordered that way, they may not have actually been Viagra. What is available in Canada is actually the same was that available here. ## l have been diabetic for 4 years and manage it with Metformin. I have also had high blood pleasure for 3 months, taking Atacand 16 plus. My age is 66 years. l am experiencing a low libido. What is your advice to increase my libido?

I have been using telma H 40/120 for almost two months. My pulse goes high, I get dry mouth, I feel weakness and breathlessness,. Could all that be side effect of Telma h that I am taking? ## Hi, Sadiq! Sorry about the problems you're having. What have your blood pressure levels been, since you've been taking it? And another question is, how much fluid are you drinking each day? The H in this stands for Hydrochlorothiazide and it's a diuretic that's used to remove excess fluid from the body. However, if it's removing too much, because you aren't taking in enough, it can lead to dehydration and that may be what's causing your symptoms. When on a medication like this, you should be taking in at least 64ounces of fluid daily, not including anything alcoholic or ...

I am 58 and suffering from high blood pressure. I recently was taking coveram 10/10 mg and natrilix SR. I however noticed that I had some rash on my skin but was unable to say if it was related to being allergic to the tablets. I also is now suffering from excessive scalp irritation. I took these tablet for approximate 4 months. Since november I am switched to enalapril maleate 10 mg and amlodipine besylate. I also realize that I have been experiencing elevated pulse reading which is over 80 sometimes and this morning at one 108 then it came back down to 77. What do I do. ## Hello, Maxi! How are you? It is normal for your heart rate to fluctuate. Just like your blood pressure it will change throughout the day and can be affected by activity, caffeine, anxiety, nervousness and even air t...

My 21 year old son, who goes to the gym 4 times a week, watches everything he puts into his mouth, and who has never had high blood pressure, just started Zestril today. A week ago he took his bp at Publix and it was extremely high, 160/97, pulse 115. Has anyone experienced this with their healthy young adult? ## Hello, JJReine! How are you and your son? One high reading wouldn't not be enough to cause a doctor to prescribe such a medication. It would have also had to have been high in other readings. What were the numbers when he checked it? If it was high and his doctor has prescribed this, there is no reason to be upset. High blood pressure can be caused by various things, such as high salt intake, even if he eats healthy low fat foods, or heredity. Getting it under control now i...

what happen if i take three blue valium 10 mg at a same time? ## The would be quite a high dosage to take, at once and it may result in overdose, especially if you aren't used to taking it. Valium contains the active ingredient Diazepam, it is a Benzodiazepine and they are known to cause depression of the central nervous system. Therefore, taking too much of it could result in a drop in pulse rate, blood pressure and breathing rate and, in some cases, this can be fatal. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello, dear doctor. I'm 65 years old and I was using Tritace 10 mg (1 daily), Natrilix SR 1.5 mg (1/2 or 1 daily) and Noten 50 mg (1/2 daily) for my high blood pressure for the past 8 years. Now the cardiologist asked me to change to Coveram 10/5, because my medications are too old now. After 10 days taking Coveram I noticed that my average blood pressure from 137/81 became 134/78 which is almost the same, but my pulse increased from 64 to 75 (in average). What is the normal pulse should be in my age? And can I stay on Coveram only or add Noten (1/4 or 1/2 tablet) with it? Or get back to previous medications? Your opinion is very important to me. Thank you. Kind Regards, Jack ## I live in Australia, New South Wales, Sydney. I concern about the pulse. After I started Coveram it became...

telma 20 or telma 40 - which tablet is stronger? ## The higher dosage, the 20 is a 20mg Telma tablet and the 40 is a 40mg Telma tablet. But the operative question is, which one has your doctor told you to take? Telmisartan is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Taking too much can be dangerous, as it could lower your blood pressure and heart rate too much. ## I am 70+ so is telma 20 or telma 40 mg tablet should be used regularly to maintain my blood pressure. ## My BP is 160/110 and pulse rate 110. Dr prescribed Telma H 40 mg but there is no improvement found and my pulse rate remains varying within the previous range. Please suggest what medicine I should take. ## Telma H 40mg BD

Age 44 Female, family history of heart attacks, strokes, hypertension. Finally went to the internist after feeling weird for about one year--I kept testing high BP repeatedly over the last year. I have 6 members of my family on lisinopril. Day One Lisiniopril HCTZ Report. To ease into it, I took a half pill (10 mg pill cut in half, so 5 mg). Side effects started within 2 or 3 hours. I had a (all too often these days) migraine when I woke up, so I cannot blame the drug for that. After I woke up, I took my BP 131/85, Pulse 83. Then I took my first half pill. Side effects: dry raspy irritated throat, it made it harder to talk at work, pretty bad muscle stiffness and cramping up and down my back (OUCH), general fatigue, weakness in arms, i tried to lift a laundry basket and i felt both of m...

I've been taking 20 mg lisinopril a day at 12 noon. I took it today at 12 noon, then my dr. changed it to 50 mg Metoprolol when I saw him this afternoon. Question is, can I start the 50 mg Metoprolol at 12 tonight when I go to bed, even tho I took my last Lisinopril a 12 today? I get bad increase heart beat/pulse at night. He thinks the change in Rx might help. ## Hello, Cheryl! How are you? Did your doctor specify? Are you supposed to take the Metoprolol twice a day? If so, then most likely yes, they meant for you to start at bedtime, but if you're unsure, please call their office to check. How are you? I am so very sorry about what happened to you. Low potassium levels can be very dangerous and can cause many health issues, having levels that are too high can also be very dangerous. Potassium is something that must remain balanced between specific levels. In my case, my body does not store potassium, though we've never been able to figure out why, thus to keep mine up, my cardiologist has had to double up medications that can elevate my potassium levels. For most people, that could c...

ive tried it once, it feels like E. but for some reason my walls were changing colors! ## The tablet marked TEC 4 contains 60mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a Canadian tablet. Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well! I am a 31 year old male who just finished a 6 day methylprednisolone 4mg course yesterday for a possible pinched nerve (Had been having some tingling in my arm and chest paints). I previously had several tests done on my heart, and they all came back clear. I took all of the pills prescribed from 6 on the first day, to 1 on the last day, and only had 1 day during the trial period when I had high heart rate, heart racing, feeling of anxiety, shortness of breathe. The rest of the days, I felt decent. Today, my first day since ending the medication, I started experiencing these symptoms again (high heart rate, shortness of breathe, tight feeling in chest) . I have also started feeling my pulse more prominently in my temple area of my head, as well as ...
