I have been suffering from R Arthritis, Interstitial Lung disease and Hyper Tension. prescribed doses increased from 8mg to Predmet 16 for last two months following recent problem of Coughing. Presently my eyes(bottom lead) swelled , puffed (or puffy) lids. In addition having noted compression fracture in L1 and L4, Osteoporosis?. It is due o prolonged use of Predmet for last two years with varying dose. BP is controlled. Other medicines: Ramistar 5mg+Minipress XL 5mg,Citromacalvit1200mg,PantocidIT one tab per day. Inhaler Foracort400 - 2+2puffs daily. I have been prescribed Predmet 4mg Tablets 2 tablets each day for 3 days. I have a fungul infection in my ear which is inflamed and the ear discharges when I am asleep. I have trouble hearing because of the constant wetness in my ear and this drug was prescribed. I have also been prescribed two other tablets Forcan-150mg(Fluconazole) 3 tablets 1 a day nd Atarax 10mg 15's to take 1 a day for 10 days. I am concerned about Predmet 4mg as i cannot find any information aboit its use. Last time I took the same dosages of tablets as above and my breathing suffered and I had aches and pains in my joints. predmet is tablet for spondilosys ## I can't find any information on this, however, based on the name it MIGHT contain the steroid Prednisone to help with inflammation, but I cannot be certain of that. Do you have any other information on it?

Want to know the side effects of predmet 16 tablet if taken for 6 days...like 3 at first day...2 in d second...2 in the third...1 tablet fourth day...1 tablet 5 day..1 tablet 6th day...how many chances are there to gain weight...is it sure dat swelling on the face will occur and weight will gain ??? ## The symptoms you've listed can all be side effects of this medication as listed by the NIH. my mother( 61 yrs ) was advised by doctor to take predmet 16 . so she was taken it . when i take her for eye surgery they have tested blood sugar level . i was shocked because it shows 460 . I am an Old Female Patient Age 81suffering from ILD (Interstices Lung Disease) and R.Arthritis. Having Predmet Since Last 4 Years With Varying Doses (16mg To 6mg) as per Doctors advise. Since last Six Weeks Dose of Predmet reduced to 4mg daily. In addition to General Weakness and Blood Sugar Disorder (which Is due to Predmet according to my Doctor), I am Suffering from Short Time Memory Loss during last 6 to 8 Months. Other Medicines taken are Ramistar5, Volibo03mg, Minipress XL5mg, Aztor20, Shelcal500 daily. Have BP 120/80 more Or less uniform Also Take Idrofos 150mg 1 Tab /month . My wife has been taking predmet 4 mg since last two years regularly , for first one year 8 mg daily , then 4 mg daily and since last 3 months 4 mg after one day intervel.She has stopped it las 15 days for some reason and today i have noticed some black spots in her body.Is it the side affect of sudden stop of using the drug ## I'm sorry, but what do you mean by black spots? I'm a 58 yr old male, suffering from COPD, living in Calcutta in India. My city is highly polluted. I have been suffering from Asthma for 25 yrs. It is in the family. What can happen if you take too many tablets of Predmet 16 mg all at once? Is it life threatening? If someone takes a high dosage at once, what can happen and if you induce vomiting right away, will that help? ## According to CIMS, Predmet is a brand of Methylprednisolone from India. That being said, it's a corticosteroid, so in case of overdose you should call 911 or poison control WITHOUT DELAY.
