From what I've heard, it is rather common for periods to last as long as a couple weeks. I have beent aking this pil for about two months to stop my period while on vacation. The first month I was taking I missed ONE day and then my period started the next day. I continued to take the pill for about a week after as I was unsure if I should stop. I finally stopped taking that week later and let my period finish up. The Sunday after my period stopped I started a new pack. I stopped taking that pill on the last day of taking ( 3 week pills) as I was ready to get my period started. hi i am a 28 yr old. i have a regular period cycle and it comes on 4th or 5th of every month. my marriage is fixed on 8th of December and i am afraid my december cycle will be due during the rituals and marriage. I just started taking Lo Loestrin Fe (still in the first week of my first pack). I took the first pill when I started spotting about a week before I expected my period. I wasn't too surprised by this due to my heavy and irregular periods, which are half the reason I'm taking this birth control. However, the spotting lasted less than a day. I've continued taking the pills since then and have been experiencing side effects such as nausea, tender breasts, moodiness, and fatigue. I know with certain one's (such as Lo Loestrin Fe, Sprintec, etc), if you take the different colored tablets in a specific way it's supposed to alter the timing of your menstrual cycle. As to the exact order of how that works, I'm not sure.. but your healthcare provider should be able to help determine that for you once you let them know about your intentions. I hope this helps!

As we r going to travell northern india as temples for a month starting from 3rd may till 4th june . In past months if I accidentally missed a pill, I would double up the next day, but then would have violent pains and vomiting.
