hi, I bought a generic version of benadryl and when I was taking a couple today I noticed that a couple of the pills where slightly darker than the rest and when I looked at the numbers they didnt match, c 22 with a blank back is on most of them (which is the benadryl I assume) but then there was also s4 or 54 (hard to tell) with blank back on a couple of them. I dont know if they are the same thing and just different markings or if they are different pills altogether, help? ## From what I could gather, a pink pill imprinted with "C22" is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride (25 mg); whereas I haven't found any specific details whatsoever on a pink pill marked with S4 or 54. Are the Watson 540 blue loritab 10 stronger than pink loritab10 ## From what I could gather, both of the pills in question are one in the same drug. The only difference I noticed is that they are manufactured by different companies. Because of this, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. If this applies to you: Generic medications are allowed to contain 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) could enable you to have a completely different reaction to each medication. Did you notice any more relief from the Watson's?
