Took it on day one of my period and had brown spotting on day 21. Im into the 3rd day of the 7 day break and still very very light spotting with mild period like symptoms. Is this normal? Cld this be my menstruation? Please advise. Thankyou. ## Yes, that can be normal, when you are new to taking hormonal contraceptives, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms. It usually takes about 3 months, or so, for your body to get used to the hormones in them and for things to balance out, however, if it doesn't improve after that time period, you should consult your doctor as this may not be the...

I haven't had my period for three years now. I got my tests several times but the doctor could not find any problem with my uterus. I do not feel any pain as well. It was okay for me not to have menstruation. However, I have noticed that I have unwanted facial hair. I checked it on the Internet and it said that it was hormonal imbalance. My question is.. should I take a pill to balance my hormones? What kind of pill should I take?

How did you know how had a hormonal imbalance? ## Hi I'm lucy iv been diagnose with pcos I just want to know wil Oralcon family planing help me cos I'm TTC.

I have been on Tri-Pre for awhile now. I didn't want to have my period this month so I skipped the week of sugar pills. I started bleeding a little on Wednesday and it is now Monday and I'm still bleeding. Is this going to stop? It's really light, but annoying and thought I was skipping my period by going right to the new pack. ## Hello, Madi! How are you? It should stop, but it may take a few weeks. By not giving your body that weeks break, you've basically created a hormonal imbalance, skipping the placebo pills doesn't always work for everyone. When I was younger and taking an oral contraceptive, I always spotted, if I tried. If it doesn't stop in a few weeks, or gets heavier, you should consult your doctor. The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly...

Hi There, Can I get pregnant immediately after stopping taking althea for three months? My doctor advised me to take Althea pills due to hormonal imbalance as I have a polycystic ovary (Left). I really want to get pregnant so badly. I never got pregnant since my husband and I got married last june of 2014. I finished my 3rd pack last August 21st and I had my 1st day of period on the 27th and ended on the 31st. We are planning to have a contact on the 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th and 18 of Sept. Is there a high chance of me being pregnant by following this plan? Thanks so much! ## Your most fertile time will be midway through your cycle, so on the 14th, or 15th day, according to NIH reports. It may also take a few months, before you ovulate and are able to become pregnant. Has your doctor...

I've been bleeding for year now. I went to the doctor and he gave me pills to stop the bleeding but it didn't work. Went to the hospital, they gave me Famynor contraceptive. The worked while I was taking them but I stopped after some time, and now bleeding is back again. What should I do? When I went to pharmacists they want a doctor's prescription. Please help me. ## Hello, Thato! If the contraceptive stopped it, why did you stop taking them? You should likely return to the doctor to have things checked out and you may need to take them, again. What is your age? It sounds like you are experiencing a hormonal imbalance. ## Hi, I am on a birth control for 3 months and it hasn't been my day to go to the clinic for another injection. i am 28 yrs. old and i wanna know why i can get pregnant since i stopped taking althea for almost 2 years. ## Hi fiona, Sorry to hear about your complications with pregnancy. I don't know whether contraceptive pills like this have any long term effects that people just aren't aware of in relation to getting pregnant. But from what I understand, infertility is not uncommon. Millions of women face it in today's society. However most cases seem to stem from hormonal imbalances or ovulation problems. It sounds to me like your best bet would be to check in with a knowledgeable gynecologist or doctor who can offer more advice through an in-person consultation. After understanding the cause of the infertility, treatment options may just require a simple hormonal adjustment to get y...

The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irregular bleeding, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Why are you afraid to take them? It might be easier for you, if those specific issues are addressed. ## Should I continue tab meprate 10mg even if I experience brown spotting? It started after 10days of medication on meprate. Hi there I m on oralcon and I didn't know Mich about it so I took seven of white pills one each day then after I started to drink the red ones I only left with one red to finish and I haven't seen my periods did I confuse my hormones by not taking 21 pill before ## Why didn't you take the full 21 days of the others? Yes, you might have caused a hormonal imbalance by taking them this way, rather than the way you were supposed to, according to the NIH. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and PMS-like symptoms. Has there been any change? Have you experienced a period, yet?

I haven't been seeing my period for months 3-4 months, went to the clinic for a pregnancy test and it is negative. The doctor said there might be fat on my tubes. I'd like to know what else can the problem be except for fat in my tubes because its been happening for a while now my period is on and off and the doctor prescribed Famynor tablets. ## Hello, Heily! How are you? It is most likely due to a hormonal imbalance. Famynor are used to prevent pregnancy, but taking them for a few months may help to rebalance your hormones, so your body starts to cycle normally, again.
