very small whit pill with no writing on the reverse side...was told that that it was oxycontin???? ## That's a tough one - nobody can seem to find a match to that description anywhere. Can you email a picture to admin at rxchat.com ? Also, do you know if it was manufactured in the USA, and if not, which country you got it from? Best Regards, PDI Team ## Hi, I found the same pill. Turning it upside down you get GG over 296 and completing a search identifies it as Loratadine, or as we know it, Claritin. Not oxycontin thank God, I found it in my 15yr olds pocket! ## Thanks a bunch Kat!

I am a light asthamtic patient (no attacks and I am using Symbicort at times) and I have been prescribed Reparil-Dragees recently (few days back) and I noticed high BP (96/165) at morning times. In addition to Reapril I am using Lyrica (Pregabalin) 150 mg on constant basis twice a day with Cataflam 50 mg almost twice a day as well. I used to have sometimes high BP with tension but I never exceeded 100 (as lower level) and few days later it goes back to 140/85. Just I want to know whether Reparil-Dragees is an adding factor to high BP or not? Thanks you all. ## I need to know for what Repair Dragees using and what will be the out come from this usage. Since i have pain in my leg and i cannot sit for long time doctor advised reparil dragees. ## I take a 150 gm lyrica everyday for fibromya...

I am 37 and have been on pain pills since I turned 15. I started street methadone to get off of IV Diladud 4mg (K4's). I got on the clinic the day after my 18th b-day. I have been on the clinic 95% of the time since. I found out I had Hep C in 1999. I had to have gotten it in 1995 or 96. The liver biopsy very much surprised my GI specialist. He Said my liver was moderately swollen, moderately scarred. and have extremely high risk for cirrhosis and liver cancer. it has gradually gotten worse, and as it says in medical literature I am finding myself needing a much higher dose ( 240mg split dose at home into two doses of 120mg). Every two weeks at the clinic I could take it in one 240mg dose. I also take Xanax 2mg TID. I am currently on 120mg total at the clinic. I live just west of Kn...

I am 45 years old. recently diagnosed with hypertension at 170/90 and a few more readings showed 153/95 and 143/96.. I had never used any pills till now..I was agile and active... But, the doctor has prescribed Amlong-A along with Becosules for 10 days and might change tablets based on the results... Being my first time on medication I'm a bit anxious about its side effects.... ## Becosules is just listed as being a multivitamin. Amlong-A is the actual medication here and the NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. It is far more dangerous to allow your blood pressure to remain elevated than it is to take the medication as instructed by your doctor. What side effects are you anxious about? ## Sorry f...

I have been taking Lisinopril /HCTZ 20-25mg. I,m out. I do have a bottle of Lisinopril 2.5 mg that was filled incorrectly, but I still have them. my blood pressure is high 155/96, and I have a terrible headache. is it ok to take the Lisinopril 2.5mg ## It is a much lower dosage, so it may not work as well as the one you are currently prescribed. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. In the future, it would be best to make sure you pick up a refill, before you run out, since missing doses could be dangerous. Have you consulted your doctor?

After a planned angioplasty of LAD (95%block) a stable patient(no sugar, no BP, Tot.Cholestrol153,but HDL 30, LDL 96 who showed effort anjina. How to reduce the current dosage of Plavix 75 twice, Rozat40 1 daily, and Ecospirin 150 after 1 month? Is Ecospirin, Rozat combination overuse of medicine? ## The medication dosages should not be lowered, unless the patient's doctor instructs them to lower them, or stop one. This is not overuse of medications, multiples are normally prescribed to treat such conditions. A 95% block is very dangerous. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and joint/muscle aches. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am 30 and diagnosed with high blood pressure (160/100). Doctor recommended I take stamlo 5 mg. After one week my blood pressure is 154/96. Does stamlo take time to reduce blood pressure? ## Yes, it can take about 4 weeks to reach its full level of efficacy in the body to see how well it works for you. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Has there been any change? ## I am 48, earlier I was taking stamlo 2.5 when my BP was 125/84. My doctor said if the lower BP crosses 90, I should take stamlo 5. Yesterday my BP was 137/97 , doctor prescribed stamlo 5. Is this medicine enough for this BP range?

I had previously worked as a police officer for just short of 3 decades, and the last 15 years of that was as an undercover narcotics investigator. I had not slept more than 4 hours in the last 20 years . I absolutely knew something was very wrong with my body, constantly exhausted, very negative attitude, and i had bad aches and pains, its just goes on and on. I retired and decided to sit down with a doctor and "lay it all out on the line, then let the chips fall where they may, no lies, nothing held back" I soon discovered something called a 96 hour commitment order, which i narrowly escaped by having to lie to keep from a locked down mental evaluation. my problems are manifested from 10 years of assisting in many dead body removals while assisting ems, picking up body parts fr...

What is the half life of alcohol in a "normal" adult? ## Wikipedia has an excellent article on Alcohol. It states that Alcohol does not have a typical "half life" as other drugs do, but it is eliminated from the blood stream at a constant rate. ("ethanol does not have an elimination half-life (i.e., is not metabolized at an exponential rate), and instead, is eliminated from the circulation at a constant rate.") It also says "The mean elimination rates for ethanol are 15 mg/dL per hour for men and 18 mg/dL per hour for women, with a range of 10 to 34 mg/dL per hour." Duration of action: 6 - 16 hours, but "Ethanol or its metabolites may be detectable in urine for up to 96 hours (3-5 days) after ingestion" ## Thanks Roy. I was wondering why I could n...
