I am known case of MI,PTCA with stenting to LAD in November 2012. On medication deplatt A150 my doc has stopped resovas as lipid became too low. now it is 160 hdl 43 ldl 105 my bp is also lower side -102/69 and heart rate 54 my age is 48 ht 178 cm and at is 68 kg. how can I gain weight around 74 kg and also correct my lipid profile? Some time I feel anxiety and if my bp goes beyond 128/85 I feel restlessness. Pl advise. ## My husband underwent a heart bypass surgery last year. He’s feeling feverish today. He taking deplatt, half tab of 1mg amril for diabetes, nebistar fir bp n rosocas for cholesterol. Can he take a paracetamol or analgesics for fever?

If your doctor approves and says they are safe for you to take, you should be able to take a NSAID, such as Ibuprofen/Advil. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach irritation. Are you on any medications?

May I ask how many tablets can I take each time? Thanks a lot. ## The maximum amount of these tablets that it is safe to take, at once, is 2 and you shouldn't exceed 4 doses in 24 hours, for a total of no more than 8 tablets. Daily dose should be spaced, at least, 6 hours apart. Taking more 1,000mgs at once or exceeding 4,000mgs in a day can be toxic and may cause severe organ damage. Are there any other questions?

My mom is 68 yrs old and she has constant pain in her joints for this she is taking paracetamol and aceclophenac combination for near about 6 month .is it ok to take it for lifelong or she has to better stop it as she doesn't feel good if she miss one tablet also ## Very sorry about the pain your mother is suffering from. As per my doctor's advice, I have been taking 1 Dolzero at night everyday to reduce pain. It clearly indicates that these "tablets are supplied for oral administration in adults". And because it does not mention it's use in children, I personally don't think it should be used in any way on them. will it be ok to take 2 x 500mg paracetamol and then 2.5hrs later take 1 tramadol hydrochloride 50mg ? ## Hi charlie, From what I could gather, the maximum amount of paracetamol (acetaminophen) for adults is 1 gram (1000 mg) per dose - up to 4000 mg daily. So with that in mind, it is possible to take two 500mg tabs at once. Safety is another concern though with regards to liver damage, if you plan on taking such a high dosage for any prolonged period of time. But as far as drug interactions go, there shouldn't be any problem taking Tramadol shortly thereafter. According to the MayoClinic, there is actually a Tramadol + Acetaminophen combination that is available for pain relief. When used together, the combination is said to provide better pain relief than either medicine used alone...

I am 8 weeks pregnant and suffering from flu since last 6 days. I took combination of paracetamol-500mg and aceclofenac-100 mg tablets almost everyday for this past week. Is it going to harm my baby?
