Pantop40

I have been taking pantop 40 for more than 6 years now just when I wake up. I am scared of using the drug for so long and want to stop it but feel sick if I don't take it. Can you please let me know if it is harming me in any way and what other alternative is there. I am obese and suffer from slip disc and severe cramps in my legs when I sleep. Kindly guide. is there any side effect for pantop40. i want to know what is gud in this tablets for having ## This medication is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, to help treat or prevent conditions, such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers, and gastritis. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. Are there any other questions?

My mother who is a heart patient and had had an open heart surgery was prescribed pan 40! But by mistake she took pantop 40.so could you please let me know whether there is any difference between these? ## Same case happened with me ....doctor prescribed pan40.....medical person given pantop40..... I asked then he replied both have not much difference.. Next time he given pan40....again I asked ..he replied no difference ## They both contain the same active ingredient, which is Pantoprazole, it is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to help treat, or prevent conditions, such as nausea, GERD, ulcers, and gastritis. i hav an acidic problem. i am suffering from throat and heartburn since 2 years. i hav removed my gall blader since 8 yeras. i am taking pantop-40 since 2 years. is there any side effect of taking it daily?
