It contained Dextropropoxyphene with Acetaminophen/Paracetamol, so it was closely related to the medication called Darvocet that was available in the U.S. Most countries have pulled these medications from the market due to the fact that they were found to carry a high risk of cardiac dangers, which outweighed any mild benefit they provided. I worked in alot of factories in my teens so i started getting RSI along with back ache. So naturally i went to gp who prescribed me co-proxomol and along with each dose take two paracetamols. So after a good few years later, they discontinued co-proxamol due to somebody taking an accidental overdose so that left me stumped. Long story, short 20 years later still have addiction to painkillers with having suffered crohns disease for 8 years and for rest of my life will have it along with few other illnesses i.e. anaemia, cant have kidz, plus a load more but will take up alot of room. ## Hello, Mizz Lucifer! We - Drs Ulf and Birgitta Jonasson from Sweden - have studied the painkilling substance Propoxyphene - Darvon, Darvocet - since 1994 and we it is the worst drugs ever.
