Im a 53 year old woman who was hit head on by a drunk driver many years ago. I've had physical therapy 4neck surgeries with pin and plates even went so far as having a electric stimulater put in my back. i have tried it all. I have degenerative disc disease and at this point have no life because im in constant pain. arthritis has set in. ive tried over the counter med ultram you name it. docs in my area are afraid to write pain meds like lortab because of the people who have abused these meds. now the ones off us whom truly need it are suffering. ive had it. I cannot go on like this any longer. I would rather be dead than to lay on my couch everyday and suffer. I am unable to even take a walk in the park. Plz, does anyone know any drs that prescribe Methadone for pain in Tappahannock or Richmond Va. area? ## Had spinal stenosis surgery, triple lactomactomy and when I came out was way worse. My surgeon said to go to their pain management and get an idea of what they came up with on file for any doctor to see or said to call them and they would help come up with a plan. They had me on methadone and oxycodone. My surgery was in 2009. I tried not to get on methadone. I was nervous. Florida resident. Here in VA Beach. Im a patient in FL but cant get home now. I fell Jan 4th in NY and spent 9 nine hours in ER. I have copies. I have tried every pain med there is. I'm allergic to the slow release meds. What ever is in them that let's them release slow brakes me out in hives. It took almost two years of trying diffrant meds to find the one that works. Now the Rehab center says after about 8 years they will not prescribe my oxycodone anymore.if that's not Bad enough the new doctor only gave me enough to get though for a week are two. I just moved to Fredericksburg/DC Metro area of Virginia from Florida. I have severe chronic spinal pain from bulging lumbar discs, bone spurs, spinal stenosis and scoliosis (in mid/upper spine). My doctor that was treating me in FL had me on 60mg MS Contin 2xday and 10mg Percocet 4xday. Which makes it able for me to function with a lowered amount of pain. I went through 3 other doctors over the years that prescribed too little or too much before I found him. I would like to find a doctor/pain clinic that will prescribe me the same or similar in/around the Fredericksburg/DC Metro area of Virginia as opposed to having to drive back to my Florida doctor every month. Does anyone know of any in these areas?

Looking for a methadone Dr. in S.W. It's hard to find those dr around Richmond area,, there are some but you need to get a primary doctor. And ask to be referred to pm.. I know places in Williamsburg and Newport News and around Norfolk.. I am not posting any names.. If your a vet. ,start with va hospitals ## Helena, I just moved to Williamsburg, Virginia. Hello I'm in need of a doctor in Virginia willing to write my pain meds recommended by or from doctors at UVA pain management. why have doctors in memphis tn stopped prescribing pain meds? ## Based on what's been going on lately in the pharmaceutical world, my guess is that most of the rudimentary doctors have become reluctant to "over-prescribe" narcotics, because they fear that they will loose their licenses upon doing so. Hello. I'm 29, a mother of two with Crohn's disease, and a former soldier. Last thing we tried is a Morphine pump at 0.4998 a day and not even that is helping the pain. I don't know why my body just not reacting and life is been especially miserable. I found a pain management doctor in the other side of Virginia and even when I explain the morphine pump is not helping they blew me off. At this point my pcm is compassionate enough to help me out with steroids and other stuff for pain but I feel like I'm broken or something. I live in Virginia and desperately need to find a pain management doctor who will treat stomach pain from Crohn's disease. I've contacted numerous doctors in the area to no avail.
