dear sir, my father has gone under cardiac surgery and on 30th march 2011 doctores installed pace maker and stunt in heart on 2nd april 2011, my question is can my father take drinks in some ocassions like party or birthday party ??? if yes then how much quantity ??? he use to take whyskey 60ml 3 drinks thrice a week. please tell me if some time he goes to party how much he can take drinks ???? ## I wouldn't advise his imbibing, without first talking to his doctor about it. I had a pacemaker put in and so far it has helped my heart rate. I have had 7 falls though because of ? Possibly too many meds? I take 14 a day. Is having a pace maker generally get better after a pace maker? ## Hi Pauline, I don't know a lot about pace makers, but I have a feeling that the 14 medications you are currently taking could very possibly be causing some of the issues you are dealing with. That is a lot of medication for one body to handle, does the doctor who put in your pace maker know about the medications you are taking? How long have you had the pace maker?

i have hypertension pace maker recently developed pain in knee perscribed cipzox ## i use cip zox for my back pain,which i am suufring from last 20 years,but i started using cipzox from last 3 years,i dont use it regularly,but use it when pain is untolrable, but from last 2 months i noticed that whenever i use it i start feeling weakness,specially my legs. please let me know is it the side effect of cibzox or else,also is it safe to use cibzox.

I am male 72.I suffered stroke inapril 2007 and pace maker was implated. I was put on Cardace 5 which i contd for 1 yr for control of my BP , after that i am on Metolar xr 50 andTelma 40. i am now taking telestar Beta-50 since june this year.I am diabetic and takingGalvus Met 50/1000.Is it fine or u Suggest somebetter medicine. thanks ## What has your doctor advised? In this case, with complicated medical conditions and such a complicated medical history, you would probably be best served by using the medications that your doctor has advised you to use. I had a pace maker put in and stopped taking Eliquis for 6 weeks. When I started taking it again I am not bruising. When taking it before the pace maker I bruised really easy and a lot. Any suggestions as to why this is happening? ## Hello, Diane! How are you? Your body may just be better adjusted to the medication, now. Most side effects are typically transient and go away, after awhile. However, given your concern, you should make sure to inform your doctor to be sure. Im a 78 years old man. Im taking 1 Ecosrin 50 (Aspirin) tablet daily. I have no pain or now any heart problem. In 2009 I had a Pace-maker operation. Now Im Ok. I've no diabetes, high blood pressure or any complex diseases. Is it necessary for me to take Aspirin daily still now? Are there any side effects when taking rabium dsr continuously? I used to take 1 cap. per day on an empty stomach. ## I am a cardiac female patient in my early fifties. Please explain sciatica to me. My husband has severe pain in his leg from hip button joint down his R leg. Never had it this bad before will the bone Dr treat this with meds before taking a MRI??? Could biso fum/hct tab 5-6.25mg cause heart problems.I had a electrocardgram and it showed an abnormality and my doctor took off this medicine that i have been taking several years. Could this be the reason i am having heart problems. Now they are talking pace maker. ## Bisoprolol is a beta blocker and they can sometimes cause palpitations, because of their mechanism of action in the body, but they are not usually dangerous and generally don't persist once the medication is discontinued. What has your doctor said has caused it? It is probably more likely that your heart problems have been caused by something else, such as the condition you were taking it for to begin with, like hypertension.

Sir I am S.N.Phukan 55 years old man. My prostrate is enlarged to 41 gr. Previously I took silofast-8 now doctor changed it to urimax-D at bed time. I took also Olmezest-20 for blood sugar. I am also a heart patient. This year 25th September placed a pace maker in my heart before placing pace maker I was fall down and injured in my nose. I took also ecosprin-150 and atorva-20mg for heart. How long I will take urimax-D. To day my fasting blood sugar is 199. I was diagnosed in 2006 with a-fib and was on metoprolol along with another that I forget. In 2014 I had to get a new cardiologist, he put me on sotalol 120mg 2 x per day and 60 mg once per day. Then in 2017 my pulse was into the low 40s so now I have a pace maker. I still have a-fib once an while. My Dr. said it will never will go away. I also have had 2 abaltions, been converted half dozen times. All I can say about a-fib is you will learn to live with it. Because as all the Drs. say is a-fib will not kill us. ## Hello, Gene! I am 81 and have severe muscular pain possibly from my spinal stenosis I'm allergic to alever and nabumetone and lipitor my doctor say I would be allergic to any of the anti inflammatory drugs so he prescribed cyclobenzarine. Does Toprol XL 50 MG produce insomnia for anyone? I am taking it at night and HCT(Diovan) 160/12.5MG in the morning. Could taking both be the reason? ## I would like to say that my doctor put me on toprol xl because I just found out this year I have a generic heart problem. i am 45 years old - female, hysteractotomy was done at the age of 35. Dr. suggested me ecosprin 75 and amlopres AT as i was suffering from pain in the left side of my body and my pressure was 180/110.what actually my problem is. ## i am diabetic type 2 and being control by tablets remained below 180 mg and have also blood pressure controlled by emlopres 5 mg with remiprill 2.5 mg .Doctor prescribed ecospsrin 75 mg dialy. my lipid profile is also in normal range. I have been on carvedilol 12.5 mg twice a day for about 2 months and am wondering if it might be the cause of what i would describe as mild to major panic attacks as soon as i wake up. They are scary. I am filled with a sense of doom. I am tired but get up ,drink some coffee and toast and start moving. This helps. I am also being treated with wellbutrin for depression (low dose as well as lorazepam. This all scares me and i need help figuring what is triggering these attacks. my husband suffered after radiation from collitis. He got rafassal caplets for 5 months and later on prednison(60mg aday during alittle over 3 weeks.)All of a sudden he developed being lame;can't move his legs and body anymore.can't stand up !
