Oxycodone 7 5 U 16

Getting conflicting info on the internet, one site says its oxycodone / acetaminophen but no image and another says its an over the counter cough and cold med also no image. The pharmacy will NOT give any info on phone. Does anyone know what it really is? ## Hello, Rebecca! How are you? I need to know if my Oxycodne IR 15mg light green pill with M oneside-15other side, with a indent center line is extended release . I am detoxing soon and is really important as I reduce down from apx 160mg(2are60mg long release) W/5mg for breakthru pain. The np 12 10mg oxycodone hcl pills are just as good if not better than the k's or A's or any other 10mg oxy for that matter..like the previous person said it all matters how your body metabolized the drug...bottomline everyones chemistry is diffrent...ive been on narcotics since i was 16 and I have always hated the "this brand is better than this brand" discussion ## @Grizzy, You have a good point about 'how the body metabolizes the drug due to different body chemistry', as opposed to one brand being "better" than another. There is no immediate release Oxycodone in that high of a dosage. The immediate release is only available in a 5mg capsule, anything higher than that is either regular release or time released. Found a pill that is round, white, and has AZ286 imprinted on it. Have had two people say its a generic percocet or oxycodone. ANyone know? ## Is it possible that the imprint is SZ 286? Walgreens as of last week is NOT taking ANY kind of discount card or their own discount card to cover this medication. It went from $107.00 to 168.00$. What the heck is going on. Was on Norco 10-325 on and off for a few years due to back problems. Had l4/l5 Laminectomy and was sent home with 5mg oxicodone. It's been 16 days since surgery and I tapered down from 2.5 yesterday. Last one last night at 10 pm. Withdrawals kicked in at 2:30 pm today! Not too bad. But the abdominal pain is bad when the immodium wears off. It is not possible for anyone to post images of all of a given medication, when it's something that is available as a generic. Once it's on the market as a generic, then it is manufactured by many different pharmaceutical firms and they all have to use different imprints to enable the medication to be identified and traced back to them, in case of an emergency. Never seen this pill and cannot find it any where on the internet. My RX was written for 168. The Pharmacy cut it to 150 without telling me. I lost the 16 pills. Is this legal to do this. ## Are you sure it was written for 168, or is it possible you misread your doctor's handwriting? Prescriptions for controlled substances can be written for no more than 30days and they are usually written according to the maximum number that can be taken each day. Thus, 2 pills a day would be 60 and 3 a day would be 90. 150 tablets is 5 a day, therefore 168 actually doesn't make any sense, because the next possible number would be 6 a day, which is 180 tablets. My dr switched my oxycodone 30mg to dilaudid 8 mg. I am wondering how they compare to one another? ## Based on my research, Dilaudid is much stronger then Oxycodone, but it doesn't last very long in it's immediate release formula. Oxycodone has an extended release formula (Oxycontin); which may be better suited for some people when used chronically for long term pain relief. 8mg of Dilaudid is "roughly equivalent" to 20mg of Oxycodone.
