I took this pill and the expiration date is 09/23/11. Is anything going to happen to me? ## Hi Crystal, According to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. Source: health.harvard.edu/fhg/updates/update1103a.shtml Penicillin does not go bad/get dangerous with age, per se, however, it can lose efficacy and may not work as well as it did, when it was new. This means that taking a standard dose may not effectively wipe out an infection and could actually cause the development of drug resistant bacteria. I have an oval shaped pill that has the number 169 on it but it was not in its original bottle what is it for ## I wasn't able to locate an exact match to your description, as you didn't mention what color the pill is that you are referring to. I did however find a pill marked "961" as opposed to "196" that is white and oval shaped. Is there any chance that you may have misread the marking? If so, I would've located the pill in description to be Clonidine HCL (0.1 mg). It has been prescribed historically as an antihypertensive drug, but has found new uses, including treatment of some types of neuropathic pain, opioid detoxification, sleep hyperhidrosis, anaesthetic use, and off-label, to counter the side effects of stimulant medications such as methylphenidat...

Just trying to figure out what the actual mg are for these pills. I see 2 different ones. Usually on a bottle it would give just 1 number on what Mg's it is... Are these 750mg or 375mgs? I'm getting different answers. I know it says 325mg/7.5mg,but your doc would say im prescribing you 750mg of so n so or 375mgs of so n so, not 325mg & 7.5mg of so n so cause it would confuse a person on exactly what Mg's they are taking! So what exactly is the mg of this orange/pink/peach oval V 3605 pill? ## Hello, Malysa! How are you? The reason for the discrepancy is that these pills actually contain 2 active ingredients. kl-142 ## This pill is light grey, about 3/4 inch long, it has a flat spot on the sides. i was taking 0.5mg of xanax now doctor has given me xanax 1mg .is this stronger or is it less then 0.5mg ## 1mg is stronger than 0.5mg, the 0.5mg is only half of an mg, so he has upped your dose to a full milligram dosage.
