Can I take 1 for today and 1 for tomorrow until my pharmacy opens? ## I'm epileptic and use this medication and another Drug with it use to be on epilim does that effect my periods and cause it to be every 30- 35 days rather than 28 days

I have been taking 'Flecainide 100mg' Twice a day since 1988. Its to stop a eregular heart beat. It has worked great till my last 2 perscriptions. There is no smell to the pills that i have noticed till the last two perscriptions. The last two smell soured like bad milk. The symptoms that they are supposed to take care of are back. I think the pills are bad. Not doing there job. I told the pharacy guy. But, he has never smelled them as much as i. And, Told me to contact you. I get 120 at a time. I put a weeks worth in a extra bottle. so i dont open the main bottle everyday. I had open heart surgery a few weeks ago and still have pain in my chest and back and arms from the operation. My Doctor says that taking Dolac 30 Mg will make my legs swell and yet the 10 Mg she has presecribed for me is not working at all. Any advice on this? Any others have adverse reactions such as swollen legs or whatever. Help in the form of an informed answered would be much appreciate.

I take 1000 mg Metformin made by Solco. There are black specks in all of the white pills and black specks left in the bottom of the bottle. The black specks do not appear inside the pills. This seems like a dirt problem in the manufacturing process. Please advise... ## Was this in a factory sealed bottle, or a bottle dispensed by your pharmacy? I have difficulty swallowing large pills or capsules. I removed the three small pills from the capsule, crushed them, and swallowed them with jelly. Is there any problem with this method? ## This is a sustained release formulation of the medication and should not be opened and crushed in this manner, as it may result in too much of the medication being released at once. I received a new prescription for lisinopril 10mg. The bottle said Lisinopril 10 mg tablet lup previously and was a small round pink tablet. The new prescirption does not say lup after tablet and is an oval pink pill with #101 on it. Is this the same medicine. My pharmacist did not mention anythiing to me about it. ## The reason it doesn't say LUP after the pill is because that is the abbreviation for the manufacturer and your new tablet is made by a different company. How long does it retain its potency? I am using a Rx dated 2/15/2011 for a UTI. Is it still effective? ## It has most likely lost some of its effectiveness by now. Once the original factory sealed bottle has been opened and they are exposed to the elements, they start to degrade and maximum effectiveness can only be assured for a period of one year from then. I am taking 4 mg of dilaudid and 100 mg of trazadone and I can't sleep. I can't keep my eyes open but just toss and turn ## I had been taking Trazadone for years and I really felt it helped me get to sleep but did not work as well keeping me asleep. ## Michelle, are you sure that you aren't sleeping, or is it possible that you are and are just having very vivid dreams that you aren't? I just opened a bottle of CoQ-10 75 mg liquid softgels that expired November 2003 are they still good and are they safe to take? ## Hi Mazy, According to one manufacturer of 'specialty raw materials' (kinetiktech), Coenzyme Q10 is said to maintain its stability for about 3 years. So if it was over 10 years ago as in this case, I would be hard pressed to think that it hasn't degraded at least somewhat by now; perhaps enough to diminish it's overall effectiveness/quality. Did you recently purchased this at a store where they accidentally kept something this old on the shelf?

There are many regulations in place regarding prescribing practices and you most likely won't even be able to get all of your medications from one doctor, anymore, but rather you'll need to see several specialists. The only other option would be to try your local ER, if your pain gets too severe. Is there anything else I can help with?
