I had taken Primodil AT for 4 year, now Dr. subsitute it to olmetrack 20 which is also 4 tomes costly than earlier. while taking this medicine frequency of urine increased.Is it better than Primodil AT and any other side effect on kidney. ## Hello, Vijay! i am taking olmetrack 20 since last 2 months. while my blood pressure was tracked it was 200/110 mm of hg. after medication of oletrack20 once from that day i am checking regularly it is coming 120/70-80 regularly. but i am not feeling good and always feeling shortness in breathing. all investigation including ecg, echo, TMT, PFT, LUNGS AND CHEST X-RAY, LIPID PROFILE, RENAL FUNCTION TEST everything results normal. i am taking as per the advice of pulmonary and cardiology expert: ATRAX 25 AND DOXOPHYLENE-A half each daily twice. i am not feeling normal in breathing. please help me in getting out of this problem soon. IS THERE ANY SIDE EFFECT OF OLMETRACK 20???

My sister has symptoms from some drug she was on. Her hands and feet have very dry, deep cracks in them. She is been treated for high blood pressure and is allergic to sulpha. The drugs have been changed a few times. In January she was taking Olmetec and this is when the symptoms starting showing up in February. The doctor has prescribed Celexa to help calm her stress level in hope of lowering the blood pressure. She takes imovane for sleeping. Olmetec has talc, could these be causing her symptoms on the feet and hands? I was using olmetec 20 and amlodipine 5 mg for my high blood pressure for the past 7 years. Now the cardiologist asked me change to civeram 10. My husband is taking the following medications: Olmetec 40mg + Zanidip 10mg + Plavix 75mg + Lasix 40mg + Cartia aspirin 100mg; 1 each morning. He is also taking: 2 Panadol Osteo 5mg x 3 times daily + 1 Pregabalin 25mg + 1 Vytorin 10/40mg at night. All prescribed by his GP. He had a triple bypass in 2014; stents 1 in Feb, 2 in Nov 2016; Radical prostectomy for cancer in 2006; Radiation for secondary cancers in 2009; Neurosurgery for a subdural hemorrhage in 2013. He has had breathing problems and used inhalers off and on for 4 years (is now off these). He does have asbestos fibers in his lungs, but thankfully no major problems there. But he is having problems with tiredness throughout the day and is constantly sleeping. Is this due to the mixture of drugs he is on now?

I have osteoarthritis.i had knee pain . So the doctor prescribed me nucoxia sp twice a day for 10 days.i am a bp patient and under medication. I take olmetrack H 20mg once. After taking nucoxia sp for 4 days I was feeling very uncomfortable and bulge in my abdomen. I felt there is water retention in my abdomen region. I checked my weight. It had risen by 4 kgs. I want to know whether this gain in weight is permanent or temporary. ## It is hard to say, this medication has been known to cause weight gain, and fluid retention as side effects, according to NIH reports. However,k it may also be unrelated. Have you consulted your doctor? There is a chance it is due to your high blood pressure medication, or the high blood pressure itself.
