I am seeing a Pain Management Dr. Neurodiagnostic center. Had two EMG's on neck and back. I was prescribed one TID. Can not go 8 hours before I take another. Still in pain reqardless. What is the least time between taking my meds, ## Norco 853 is 10 mg Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 325 mg. It can be taken every 4-6 hrs. ## My goodness 10 mg twice as strong as 5 mg I didn't know that

If there's any pills that come remotely close, I'd imagine them to be Mucinex DM or Guaifenesin + pseudoephedrine tablets. I took a couple from my new prescription yesterday, and let me tell you, they ARE NOT THE SAME. It felt like I had taken Xanax or Valium. Not the same feeling as Norco's... They made me sick after taking just two... I never throw up on regular pain pills. I do however, always throw up when I take benzo's... What's the deal with that. Of course I can't go to my doctor and ask him for a refill a week after I got this one. Plus it does nothing for my pain what so ever. I guess they changed it up to be less habit forming. I don't know... Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.

I have been taking norco over the years from Watson. A couple of years ago my prescription changed to Tris I have realized over the last several refills the effects of relief are not constant as with the watsons, even within the own bottle some are strong some are not Walgreens said they dont carry Watson any longer. I get a script every month for Norco 10/325, and the pharmacy had the Watson yellows. Then around May or so the pharmacy had a different labs' Norco. They said that all the Watson yellows had to be taken off the market. The next month they had Watson again, only they were white. Is their a difference between the two? ## I hace severe/chronic sciatica and the doctor has been proscribing Vicodin/hydrocodone for years......2 at a time and some days, as much as 4 doses. Recently he cut the tylenol portion so that it would be safer for my liver than the previous 10/660 and 10/500 tablets. Accordingly, he prescribed small amounts of Percocets (10/325 E712) and Hydrodone Norco (10/325) so that I could decide which worked better for me. Hello Hydrocodone world: My experience is this. You can not beat Name Brand scored NORCO 10/325. However, my experience is Watson is a softer compound, & works faster. Now, the other generic NORCO 10/325 (36 01) scored other side. This is made by QUAILITEST: many people say they suck, because in fact, it is a harder compound to digest/desolve, therefore not getting a good feeling,but the slight slower release makes Quailiest (NORCO) actually kill the pain more so than Watson (GENERIC) 10/325.
