I need 180 norco 10/325 a month to take for pain. How much does it cost to fill this prescription? ## I think the price depends on where you live? I saw one person got them for 33 cents. My Insurance covers mine. But there is a $1 charge on all the medication so $8. But the Pharmacist is so good that I would pay $5 prescription. The year I did hormone treatment for IVF I am male, it was over $35,000 thank goodness for insurance. ## Hi Regina, I think Jose is right about the price varying based on location. Not only that but the quality/presence of an insurance plan, the use of pharmacy coupons, patient assistance programs, etc, can all make a significant (night and day) difference in how much you pay. That said, if you are looking to save money and don't have insurance, MedsChat off...

White NORCO 539.. is that the real deal or just a knock off.. and also heard that now company's are going to make it to when u break on in 1/2 a chemical reaction takes the Codien out of it. Not that I care but is that possible? ## Hello, TX84! How are you? Yes, this is the name brand, so it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus, it does not contain codeine and I don't know anything about the formula being changed, sorry. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The Reply was almost confusing on the second part lol Could you be a little more better please. Im not sure if that was in pa...

There is a Norco available that contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, if you're on the higher dosage of it, then that may explain the nausea. Learn more Norco details here.

I have gotten down to 2 a day. Will I have withdrawals? ## Hello sinnerman, According to NIH there is no way to 100% curb the withdrawal symptoms of stopping opiods. According to the American addictions center organization there are some ways that you can allevaite some of the symptoms or at least not make them worse than they need to be. The list is as follows. - Nutritional support, through diet and/or vitamin supplements - Hydration - Hydrotherapy, including baths and whirlpools - Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs - Anti-nausea medications - Topical analgesics - Natural sleep supplements - Antidiarr...

In Georgia, can my Dr call in a prescription for Norco 375/10, or does it have to be written? Can my Dr put refills on the prescription, or would I have to see the Dr monthly to get another prescription? ## Hi Jean, I believe it is your doctor's discretion to make these types of decisions, because there are many doctors out there who do call in prescriptions everyday, and it seems to just come down to their willingness to do so on your behalf. My mom actually had her doctor call in her Norco refill a number of times, due to her inability to leave the house frequently; but still had to be there in person to pick it up if that makes sense. However, she lives in California, not Georgia, so this is something you may have to call your doctor about and ask him directly for assistance. I h...

I take the Qualitest brand of Norco 7.5/325 and find it superior to Watson Any others agree with this opinion, or have different thoughts? ## I do not like Qualitest at all - it makes me feel like sleeping so I can't take it during the day. Watson NEVER did that to me - I can't find any pharmacies to fill my Rx with Watson any more. So bummed. ## I think Watson has recently changed formula... I used to agree with you that Watson was superior, but within the last six months I've noticed a profound change it. ## I haven't been able to buy Watson in quite a while but I believe you - I feel that every generic I have purchased does NOT work like Watson used to. I think they've changed the formula/strength without telling anyone, that way people have to buy more to get the...

No, if it was for a 30 day supply, the pharmacy will still hold you to the usual refill schedule. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## i know this is an old post but in the future they may fill it if its a new script being only 2 days but some pharmacist think they are God and make people wait...i been out of my hydro and oxy for 8 days once, and that was a nitemare but i take oxymorphone 10mg ER...

How many tylenol 3 with codeine do I have to take to make the same amount as 4 norcos 10/325? ## Hello, Kalife! How are you? It takes 66.67mgs of Codeine to be equal to each 10mgs of Hydrocodone. So roughly 2 Tylenol 3 for each Norco. However, the problem is that you can't double up that much due to the dangers of overdosing on the Acetaminophen in them, because that could be fatal. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, you should only take it as prescribed by your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been on Morphine 15mg. Succ IR for close to 2 months. I'm switching to Norco 10/325 in the morning. I'm wondering how many hours should be in between taking the morphine, and the Norco? I took my last morphine at 7pm tonight. Start Norco 10/325 around 7am. ## Unless your doctor or pharmacist has instructed otherwise, you should be able to make a clean switch from one to the other. The FDA does warn that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Do you take any other medications?

Does norco 5/325 have the same ingredients as the little pink pill k56 which is oxycodone 10mg? My doctor switched me due to the strength. The k56 pills are stronger he said and i needed a weaker pill to be able to work. So he prescribed me the norco. What i'm saying here is that are they the same, but different doses? ## No, they are not the same. The Norco contains the narcotic Hydrocodone coupled with Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## what does kvk mean on my oxycodone 10 mg tabs bottle? ## KvK Bio Tech is the pharmaceutical company that make the drug. ## No they are two diff type of narcot...

I was taking 7.5 mg Lortab for 12 yrs. My Dr.switched me to Norco when the Lortab was discontinued. I can not tolerate the Norco. It does not feel as smooth with my back pain. Also my blood pressure shot way to high and it is hard to describe but it makes me feel like I have been eating rust. Could the differance be the filler used in the Norco? Also I took Vicodin with no problem. ## Hi Martha, u may not b able 2 take the narco. It just might b giving u side effects. If I were u , I would definitely talk 2 your Doctor, right away . ## @Martha, It is very possible that changes in inactive ingredients could be what's causing the side effects you didn't experience with Lortab. If you happen to know the imprint from both pills (including the previous Lortab), I'd be more than h...

I have been taking 10/325 norco for many years. A few days ago I received my medication and found it had been replaced with Aurobindo Pharm U03 imprint. They make me feel very ill with a headache nausea and worse they do not take my pain away at all. I also feel very dizzy. How has the FDA approved this Indian company? Has anyone else had a problem with the U03 10/325 hydrocodone. Im frightened to take them but need pain relief. ## Yes, your pharmacy couldn't dispense it to you, if it weren't FDA approved. But there can be fluctuations from one generic medication to another, or when going from the name brand to a generic. That means this one may be slightly lower in the amount of the active ingredients, so it may not work as well for you as the other one did. Usually, the fluctu...

PHOTO OF NORCO10-325MG TAB ## Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. Lately it seems like everywhere I go to get my norco 7.5 filled lately, I get those horrible white pills (not sure of the manufacturer). They seriously make me feel ill! I'm looking for a pharmacy around Livonia, Plymouth, Canton, Northville, etc, that still carries the peach ones with the flying "V" on the back (I believe it's Qualitest). Any help would be greatly appreciated! ## Hello Smash, Would you happen to have the imprints on either of the medications that you are describing? The flying V you are referring to is the imprint mark of the Qualitest brand but a large number of their medications comes in the peach/pink color and I wouldn't really be able to provide much useful information without knowing the imprints. Once you give me the imprints I can look up th...

Why does Norco/Hydrocodone, make me sick to my stomach & worsen my migraine, but Percocet/Oxycodone doesn't? ## Hello, Hriggs! How are you? Well, they are two different narcotics and there's always a chance of one working better for you, than another. That's why there are usually several medications available in any given treatment category. Someone else may have these problems with Percocet and have to take Norco, instead. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause sid effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

What are the chemical make ups of Norco's vs the chemical make up of Tramadol. I know that Norco has Hydrocodone and Tylenol but do not know what the make up of Tramadol is ## Hello, Rotom! How are you? Tramadol is the active ingredient, that's the name of the drug itself. The FDA classifies both of these medications as being narcotic analgesics, which means they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes. With the new laws my health care provider is giving me a drug panel to make sure I am only taking the Norco as prescribed and nothing else. I was concerned because I had recently taken some Tramadol that I had from a while back and thought it m...

I'm taking percocet 10/650mg. I have (DDD), (Athritis), and the list goes on. I have a friend on Norco. Can you tell me what the difference is between them and the highest mg the norco comes in? THANK YOU SO MUCH! ## The Percocet is way better then the Norco, and the reason is because Percocet contains Oxycodone and Norco contains Hydrocodone. What im trying to say is Oxycodone is a stronger and longer lasting Opiate then Norco. {Edited for safety} just make sure to watch how much Tylenol/Acetaminophen ur taking, try not to take more 4000 to 5000mgs cause it can damage ur liver. The best Percocet you can get is 10-650 and 10-325 The best Norco you can get is 10-325 or Lorcets which are 10-650 .
