Ofloxacin Extended Release

Just want to know if extended release ofloxacin shold be taken once or twice daily ## Hi viv, The "usual adult dose" is taking 200-400mg every 12 hours for 7-10 days; depending on the type of infection and how severe it is. Although I can't confirm it, I do believe that this is pertaining to the extended-release version of the drug, since it says "every 12 hours"; when typically these types of drugs are more or less like every 4-6 hours or so. I also find it odd that your prescription doesn't have a label with any information on how or when to take it; if anything but for your own general safety. Personally, if I didn't have any instructions from my doctor or pharmacy I wouldn't even take it. But the next best thing in my honest opinion would be to follow... ...

Hydrocodone error?
1 Reply RSS
Just started using hydrocodone apap tab5mg-325. This first dose I took is 2 pills at 12 noon. The bottle instructions say you can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. It is now 3:15 pm and it feels like the hydro pills, made by Amneal are just about finished. The pills I have been taking prior to this are oxycodone, Mallinckrodt, acetaminophen 5-325 and I take 1 pill every 6 hours. This is OXY condone, NOT HYDRO codone made by Amneal. Are they different strengths? The HYDRO seems weaker. Whats the difference between the two? And should they be interchangeable? ## It does require 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to be equal to the 5mg Oxycodone you were taking, because the Oxycodone is stronger. However, it may simply be that the Hydrocodone just doesn't work for you. Learn more Vicodin ... ...

i took pantop hp kit in oct 2012 now i am ok but some time i feel asid in my stomak so it is write to take some dose of pantop hp kit ## Actually, it wouldn't be the full kit that you want, unless your doctor instructs you to take it. Because that also contains an antibiotic to eradicate the H. Pylori bacteria. If you're having an acid problem and a doctor hasn't said you need the antibiotic, then you'd just want the Pantop by itself or some other similar medication. Learn more Pantop details here. It's a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid produced by your stomach, but it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain. But you should also check with a doctor, before taking it, to make sure that it is safe for you to ... ...

Side Effects of Vyvanse
2 Replies RSS
My son is 14 and has been taking Vyvanse for about one year now. His current dose is 60mg daily. Over the past 4 months he has been experiencing side effects that led doctors to think that he has Neuro-Cardiogenic Syncope also known as POTS (Postural Orhtostatic Tachycardia Syncope). So now on top of his Vyvanse he is now taking Toprol 25mg daily. His symptoms include rapid heart beat, dizziness, blurred vision, and chest pain. He had a TILT test performed and failed. But now after reading more, I think that these symptoms are all side effects of his medication. He participates in sports and can no longer get through a wrestling match without the symptoms so severe, he has to quit the match. Doctors Who Would Prescribe Morphine in Indiana
1 Reply RSS
I live in northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne area. My father, 59, has been on varying dosages of morphine since 2005, due to a back injury he got in 1989. As a chronic pain patient, morphine is the one drug that has been able to help him obtain at least some standard of living. The doctor (Dr. William Hedrick) and pain clinic that provided his morphine are now out of business, due to his medical license being suspended for, among other things, dangerous prescribing practices. While my father still has a small quantity of Oxycodone (10 mg three times a day, if I'm not mistaken), but that's not nearly enough to improve his quality of life. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do at this point? He's disheartened, as it took him five years to find a doctor to prescribe the medica... ...
