morphine sulfate
Does anyone take Kadian and how is it, how long does it last, it is not very strong to me ## In response to the question about Kadian, I have taken it in a dosage of 12 to 20 100mg capsules per day. It is basically morphine sulfate, and the thing I do like about it is that it kills the pain more in the body as opposed to the brain, so you feel more normal. The down side is that is makes you sleepy sometimes, causes more constipation than Oxy, or Feninyl, and has a ceiling around 2 grams/day, in other words beyond that amount there is no additional relief when taking more of the med. Overall, I have found that I can take it once a day along with 4 30mg Oxycondone IR in the morning and two to four 10mg Valiums at bed time. That way I wake up in some pain, but can go to the bathroom, and t... ...

 Oxytrex Oxycodone + Naltrexone
Oxytrex is an investigational drug currently in clinical trials. It combines the well known opioid agonist oxycodone in the treatment of pain with an ultra-low dose of naltrexone, an opioid antagonist. Naltrexone can have markedly different pharmacokinetics at ultra-low doses which may include, the attenuation of a pre-established opioid tolerance, the prevention of tolerance from the oxycodone in the formulation, and the possible amplification of oxycodone. It is being developed by Pain Ther...

bupropion aches
What other drug would be very close to the Bupropion to substitute. My doc.told me to cut dosage in half and see if muscle pain lessens. If not then we are going to see what would work for me.On 150 it was great and helped me feel normal in years. So that is why I hope we can see how half works.Pain is still 24/7 but does respond to alleve and is about 5 out of 10 now.Possible it has not reached efficafy point at 4 weeks maybe? Thanks Thanks ## Hello, Juan! How are you? Are you using it to treat depression? There are many other options available that you can try, there are SSRIs, SARIs, SNRIs, MAOIs and tricyclics. You may want to talk to your doctor about trying an SARI, since they can also sometimes help with nerve pain, so they may prevent more issues than they cause for you. ...

cerAxon and dementia
Does anyone know any details about taking cerAxon for dementia/Alzeimers? If yes, has it helped? Any side effects? ## What is ceraxon used for besides dementia? Also is 1000 mg. every 12 hours an average dosage? What are the side effects? My mother just had a stroke and I did not realize before I got the list of medication from the hospital that she was taking it. ## CerAxon is actually just classified as a medical food, since it is nothing more than a supplement that may help with cognition and memory impairment. It actually contains Citicoline, which is available over the counter and considered a supplement, not a medication. Learn more CerAxon details here. Are there any other comments or questions? ...

Difference Between Adderall And Amphetamine Salts
I was recently diagnosed with Adult ADD and have been prescribed Amphetamine Salts (Generic for Adderall) for a few months now. The initial dosage was one 10mg tablet/ three times a day and recently my Doctor upped the dosage to one 30mg tablet/ twice a day. I know that overall this has been very beneficial for me but I cant help but wonder if the generic brand (IR Amphetamine Salts) has less of the active ingredient, and more unnecessary side effects(irritability, fatigue). I know that while the active ingredients are likely to be the same, the "fillers" usually are not and even the active ingredients can vary up to 10%. I also know that everybody reacts differently depending on their bodies' make-up as well as the drugs and I have always reacted sensitively to any kind of ... ...

Fentanyl Patch Side Effects
I was on fentanyl for 3 years. I lost half of my monthly dose and just didn't take any. I had it last march 26 and JUST FOUND THE BOX! I have not been on any narcotics since then, I hurt really bad, is it safe to put on a patch? ## Have you consulted your doctor? What dosage are the patches? There may be some issues, since you went from being on it, to being off, then suddenly jump back on, without taking anything else in the meantime. Your tolerance levels may have changed, so I'd suggest consulting your doctor first. ## The out of date would not worry me as much as jumping back on. I'd suggest using breakthrough meds until you talk to Dr. You had no withdrawal. Did I miss the strength or no. I would not worry if its a start dose 12.5 or so ...

i nomally take (2) oxycod/apap =percocet up to 6 a day my question is can i take oxycodone if i have ran out of my percocet? ## If you are running out early, then you really need to consult with your doctor, your dosage may need to be adjusted. ## To my knowledge percocet and oxycodone are the same exact drug, one is just the generic name. ## No - Percocet contains both Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. ## what is the difference btween percocet n roxicodone30mg? my dr. just switched me n he told me roxicodone wuz just perc without tylenol ?????can someone help ## Your doctor is correct, Roxicodone just contains the narcotic Oxycodone in a regular release formulation and Percocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen. ## I have been taking percocet for chronic pain for 7 years. Suboxine for pain?
Does anyone know if suboxine can be used for pain. i have fibromylgia and have ruptured disks and pinched syacitia nerves. im currently on 3 5mg of loritabs and 3 300mg of neurotin a day for pain mag. but it dosnt really work most days. i tried suboxin one day and it helped my pain much more than my meds. was i imagining it or does it really help. ## Suboxone can help with pain, although it's probably not nearly as potent as other narcotic pain meds. It could be that you had imagined it to be more potent than other previous treatment options. I believe your thoughts are just as real as what's in front of you. Has anyone else had success using Suboxone for pain? ## I have been using oxi for over a year.I have an extremly bad back 30 years hiking but my addictive tendencies made i... ...

white pill dilaudid m 2
Can the m 2 pill be cut in half and taken? Is it a time release? Is this pill the smallest dosage usually prescribed? ## No, this is not a time released tablet, so it could be cut, if you wish, unless your doctor or pharmacist has specifically told you not to do so. And yes, this is the lowest dosage available in the tablets, it contains 2mgs of the Hydromorphone, which is the active ingredient in Dilaudid, this is actually a generic medication. It is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Chantix Day 4
Started my fourth day today. Took pill 1 of 2 this morning, will dose a second time this evening with my meal. The medicine makes me feel quiet, and somewhat moody but nothing I can't work through. My natural tendency today is to isolate. I don't really feel like being sociable, though I wi be anyway just to try and fight against it (if indeed those symptoms are due to the Chantix). I already notice a considerable difference in taste and smell. The best way to describe it is I now "notice" myself smoking the cigarette. It becomes less desirable, though I do still have cravings as I'm a pack-a-day smoker. I have had a mood swing or two at work, but that could just be that I work in a crazy environment. I don't want to fall victim to self fulfilling prophecy, meani... ...
