Nitrofur Macr 100 Mg (side effects)
I started this last evening for a bladder infection. Nitrofuran Monohyd Macro100mg
I am on day 3 OF NITROFURAN MONOHYD MACRO 100MG 100 mg for urinary track infection every 12hrs, I have problems with my stomach and have been prescribed DICYCLOMINE 10MG/5ML. (1/2 hr before meals) Is safe to take while taking NUTRIFURAN? ## Hi Virnia, Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Nitrofurantoin and Dicyclomine. So just going off that information alone, I don't think there should be any problems using the two together (outside of each medication's own general side effects). However, if you still have any reservations about taking them, it may be best to call your doctor up and verify that it's ok with him as well. Was it the same doctor who prescribed you the Nitrofurantoin, that also give you the script for Dicyclomine? ...

nitrofur macr 100 mg rash duration
I took nitrofur macr 100 mg for 6 days of the 7 day prescription. I was having serious side effects, such as difficulty breathing, chills, intense nausea, and a skin rash. Within 24 hours of stopping the medication all of the side effects disappeared, except the skin rash. I have been off the medication for 3 days now and the rash is still present. Should I call a doctor or will it go away eventually on its own? ## Sorry that happened, Amber! You should call your doctor to be sure and maybe get something to lessen the duration of the rash, but if that's all you have left, it's doubtful that it's anything dangerous, unless you see signs of the skin breaking and tearing, ulcerating, bleeding, turning black or other unusual symptoms. However, those are signs of an allergy to th... ...

Nitrofur Macr 100 Mg/ how long does it take?
About how long does it normally take before you start feeling the effects? I am using it to treat a urinary tract infection. ## Hi Jane, It's hard to say how long it can take for you to "feel" the effects of a drug, as every drug can effect each individual differently. If you're curious about what the proper dosage should be for a UTI and how long you should be taking it for, then the information below will be very helpful in that regard: "The recommended nitrofurantoin dosage for treating UTIs in adults is 50 to 100 mg four times daily, continued for at least three days after the infection has cleared. For uncomplicated infections, the lower amount is usually recommended. For long-term treatment to prevent UTIs in adults, a dose of 50 or 100 mg once daily at bedtime... ...

Can Nitrofur-Macr 100mg be taken with keppra, trileptal, enalapril and prednisone? ## Hi TA, There's actually quite a few different interactions found between every medication you mentioned "except" for Nitrofu-Macr...you can view these interactions below: Enalapril and Prednisone: Corticosteroids may antagonize the effects of antihypertensive medications by inducing sodium and fluid retention. Prednisone and Trileptal (oxcarbazepine): Coadministration with oxcarbazepine may decrease the plasma concentrations of drugs that are substrates of the CYP450 3A4 isoenzyme. Nitrofur Macr 100 Mg Is This Related To Sulfer
Is macrobid or the generic ( Nitrofur Macr 100) be related to Sulfer or Penicillin? ## Although this is an antibiotic, It does not contain Sulfur, nor is it related to Penicillin. Due to sulfa allergies, it must be stated on a medication when it contains a sulfur-based ingredient. This antibiotic does have a lot of side effects however, so you may be experiencing one or more of these if you do have any symptoms. You can read more about this drug by clicking on the links below: I would suggest looking into the vast number of natural antibiotic alternatives (in the form of herbs, essential oils, and dietary changes) if you're not getting the results you're looking for from Nitrofurantoin. I hope this helps! ...
