I am 47 years male and I have creatinin range 1.5 to 2.0 but blood urea is normal. I had been prescribed the tablet Nefrosave tablet (acetylene cysteine 300mg and pyridoxamine dihydrochloride 50mg) by doctor. I would like to know that is it safe to use for long time of 2 months or is it dangerous to use for kidney in future? Are there any side effects using nefrosave tablets in future or now? ## This is actually a nutritional suppplement, used to treat or prevent the medical conditions that can occur if you are deficient in these vital nutrients. i am transplanted patient 31 yrs. of late my kidney has developed functional problem thus my creatinine level has gone up to 7.8 and my doctor has advised to take Nefrosave tab twice a day. Will this tablet reduce my creatinine level and if so how long it will take? ## further to my mail dt. 1st Mar.14, I would like to inform that I had undergone transplant 31 years ago (i,e in 1983) and my present age is 60 years. The graft was functioning well till now, but recently the creatinine level has gone up to 7.8 . my mother age is approx 68 year, having blood urea 153 serium creatine 2.2 she is diabetic past one month taking insulin human insuline 50/50 now she is taking humaninsulin 30/70 dossage 12 at morning and 8 at night..due to sudden changes in urea having complete body itching .. pls suggest us, doctor prescribed medicine nefrosave at morning time 1 tab. shall be start the medicine need your help currently she is having major proble, itching , skin doctor prescriped one of medicine 1. spectra 10 mg, we gave two dossage which creat a problem face puffing, and more itching not able to sleep so we stop that medicine. and once reaction happend we have given anothe medicine which sam doctor prescribed for a day time mebryal25 mg. i have repited after 6 hr, some how she is ok... need your ipini... ...

USES OF NEFROSAVE TABLETS ## I was prescribed Nefrosave. I am diabetic since 15 years, however mainly fasting sugar is in region of 130-140, PP is always < 140. History of parents diabetic & mother with kidney failure and dialysis, father after multiple myloma had renal failure and dialysis. apart from nefrosave, prescribed with aztor-20 mg, ecosprin -75 and Gemer -2 mg+ Cresar 20 mg. Another doctor has doubled doses Ecosprin 150 AV, Teolma 40, Rejunex OD and Mclazide M. Recently blood pressure is 140/90, however normally it is 120/80 and some boils on body and sometimes erectile dysfunction. Antoxyl Forte
Is Antoxyl Forte a substitute of Nefrosave-500+150 Mg. ## No, they are not the same. Nefrosave contains N-Acetylcysteine and Taurine. Antoxyl forte is a multivitamin and mineral supplement, but it doesn't contain either of the ingredients that the Nefrosave does.
