Blood urea 70 & cretinine 2.5 Age 78.should I take nephrosave ## can a patient with Blood Urea 70mgs and creatinin 2.5 take the drug Nefrosave?will it be useful to reduce the urea and creatinin in this patient? ## Nefrosave contains n-acetylcysteine 150 mg and taurine 500 mg, it most commonly used as a detoxifying agent. As to whether or not it should be used by any particular individual, i cannot possibly make any suggestion. There are many factors that must be taken under consideration, such as their medical history, current medical conditions and any other medications being taken. I am 47 years male and I have creatinin range 1.5 to 2.0 but blood urea is normal. I had been prescribed the tablet Nefrosave tablet (acetylene cysteine 300mg and pyridoxamine dihydrochloride 50mg) by doctor. I would like to know that is it safe to use for long time of 2 months or is it dangerous to use for kidney in future? Are there any side effects using nefrosave tablets in future or now? ## This is actually a nutritional suppplement, used to treat or prevent the medical conditions that can occur if you are deficient in these vital nutrients. Hi.....Doctor, My doctor advised to take daily a tablet Nefrosave, since I am a patient of DM type 2 & HTN for the last 9 years blood uric acid,creatinine,urea nitragen, lipid profile all normal in range but HTN sometimes 160/85 go & my HbA1C is 8.5. Taking medicines for DM like Galvus Met 50/1000mg = 2 times, Amaryl 3mg = 2 times, 1time Acrose(Glucobay 50mg) just started, for HTN drugs like Co-Diovan 160mg/12.5 1 time, Amlor (amldopine)10mg 1 time, Concur 5mg 1 time, Lipicure 10mg 1 time. i am transplanted patient 31 yrs. of late my kidney has developed functional problem thus my creatinine level has gone up to 7.8 and my doctor has advised to take Nefrosave tab twice a day. Will this tablet reduce my creatinine level and if so how long it will take? ## further to my mail dt. 1st Mar.14, I would like to inform that I had undergone transplant 31 years ago (i,e in 1983) and my present age is 60 years. The graft was functioning well till now, but recently the creatinine level has gone up to 7.8 . my mother age is approx 68 year, having blood urea 153 serium creatine 2.2 she is diabetic past one month taking insulin human insuline 50/50 now she is taking humaninsulin 30/70 dossage 12 at morning and 8 at night..due to sudden changes in urea having complete body itching .. pls suggest us, doctor prescribed medicine nefrosave at morning time 1 tab. shall be start the medicine need your help currently she is having major proble, itching , skin doctor prescriped one of medicine 1. spectra 10 mg, we gave two dossage which creat a problem face puffing, and more itching not able to sleep so we stop that medicine. and once reaction happend we have given anothe medicine which sam doctor prescribed for a day time mebryal25 mg. i have repited after 6 hr, some how she is ok... need your ipini... ...

Am a diabetic for 12 yrs.Controlled sugar level with euglim 2 and cepatin.Creatine level at 1.37 for first time. Prescribed nefrosaveforte 2 tabs per day and eido. Any side effects of alcohol upto 2 pegs per day with nefrosavesave forte. pl let me know ...

I am a diabetic person for last 15 years.Recently I have noticed swelling around my both ankles. When contacted my physician, he checked LFT/RFT, urine routine, ACR & 24 hrs. urine protiene estimate. I want to know as my doctor prescribed nefrosave for high microalbumin in urine ? ## I have ++ trace albumin my urine shall it would be useful of taking nafrosave tab to get rid of microalbumin outflow in my urine ## Nefrosave is just a nutritional supplement that contains N-Acetylcysteine and Taurine, so it's not actually proven to help with anything. Studies have been done to check this combination for treating microalbumin, but no significant difference was found between those taking it and those that just took placebos.
