can i use zymaxid in place of vigamox? ## They are two different medications, though they treat the same conditions. Zymaxid contains Gatofloxacin and Vigamox contains Moxifloxacin. There might be a reason they prefer one over the other, since some are found to be better at treating certain conditions. However the insurance pharmacy I go to only covers Zymacid & I am very hesitant in using it & am just thinking of purchasing the eye drops.
