what is the white powdery sediment that collects at the bottom of my child's Betamox syrup bottle? ## Are you making sure to shake the medication to mix it, when you give your child a dose? Betamox contains the active ingredient Amoxicillin, which is an antibiotic, but these suspensions usually start out as powders at the pharmacy, which are mixed with purified water, at the time they are dispensed to you. Thus, as it sits, it is normal for some of the medication to settle back out, just as would happen with any other powder solid that you mix with a liquid and let sit for awhile. Is Betamox 500mg safe for swollen ang painful gums? ## Hello, Based on my research, Betamox contains Amoxicillin which is an antibiotic. How long after taking betamox and flustat can I drink alcohol? I'm taking them for my sinuses and the flu. ## It would be best not to mix them, because doing so may cause more severe side effects than usual, according to NIH reports, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness, and headaches than usual. When will you finish your course of treatment with them?
