Methadone 40mg

I NEED TO FIND A DISTRIBUTOR ## Sorry, this is an information only site, this site does not sell, nor distribute drugs. ## I can name off 2 manufacturers of the 40 mg dose (although I believe they may be getting discontinued). Anyways, they are Mallincrodt Pharmaceuticals and Cebert Pharmaceuticals. Have you had any luck? ## 40mg methadone WAFERS not "biscuits" are used in clinics only. I doubt you will be able to find anyone other then a methadone clinic to give them to you. I think maybe a pharmacist can order them, but will he? Unless you go to a mom and pop drugs store as opposed to Wallgreens, CVS, etc. you won't get them. Sorry, but I am 90% sure of what I am saying

I was asking if they make a 7.5 mg generic methadone pill? It is a white round pill with no markings except for a score line in the middle on one side ## Hi lois, Here in the U.S. the lowest I've seen online are only 5 and 10mg generic doses. I can argue though that there is an article on a study done here in the states, where cancer patients were randomly assigned to receive methadone 7.5 mg orally every 12 hours for 4 weeks. So I do believe it is available, but maybe only prescribed under specific circumstances. I could be wrong, but as of yet I have not come across anything stating otherwise. My husband has taken subs on his own in the past and quit oxycodone and did fine. this time around he was taking about 40mg methadone a day. He waited about 50 hrs before starting the bupe. He at first took a quarter and then a half and couldnt really tell a difference so we figured since it wasnt worse he must not be getting perciptated withdrawals. So this evening he has been feeling really awful but it isnt helping him to take bupe .He has done about 2 throughout the day. He is very restless and miserbal he cant sleep he is in a lot of withdrawal. My question is if it was from preciptated withdrawals wouldnt this have happened earlier in the day when he first started to take the bupe. My father was a chronic pain patient with a spinal tumor who was moved off of Oxycontin and Dilaudid to methadone. Unfortunately, after a long, log battle, he became completely paralyzed and the tumor was in the process of killing him. He asked to be terminally sedated. The doctors put him on a morphine drip, but even after they quadrupled his dose, he was still in pain and awake. Eventually, they got to 4000mg a DAY of IV morphine, and it was ineffective. We did our research, and it showed there is NO conversion rate for methadone to morphine equivalents as there is with every other opioid. In other words, just to duplicate the 30-40mg a day of morphine he was taking would have required anywhere from 240-3000mgs of morphine - forget actually sedating him. Is taking 4methadone 10mgs the same as a 40mg wafer? It doesn't seem to last as long or as strong. ## If they are regular release, then they should work the same. However, medications can be funny, so that might not be true of Methadone. Have you checked with your doctor? Is there such a thing as a 80 mg.Methadone?I know there is a 40mg pill,but is there an 80mg??? ## No matches came up based on an 80 mg dose. I would have to say no. There are only 5 and 10 mg pills... And they are the worst drug ever invented. So a friend of mine started taking home 2 weeks of the pill form of Methadone witch is called Methadose it's a 40mg wafer. It directly from a clinic and he drops it in water let's it dissolve and drinks it. It lasts him all day but notices it makes him very tired. He's been on it for a little over a year now. I'm just trying to figure out why he's ALWAYS so tired after work he usually takes an hour or two nap on the back porch and he says it's because the methadose makes him super tired after a long day at work. Have been on methadone for 15yrs down to 40mg a day live in huntsville,AL area can't find a dr mine left I suffer with chronic pain from different health problems would like to come on off of it but very scared I just need to know how to taper on off as easy as possible I also have and rarely ever take opana,klonopin,neurotin will these help? I have been taking 40mg methadone everyday for almost a year now and I really would like to switch to suboxone. I know you can't take suboxone until you've had atleast 48hrs from your last dose of methadone, so yesterday and today I've taken an op 80 instead. My question is will I be able to take a suboxone tomorrow and not go into immediate w/d since it will be over 48 from last methadone dose? Or Should I be taking something else instead of op 80s to make the switch? I stopped taking methadone 4 days ago; 40mg a day, and started taking roxicodone 30mg a day. I haven't had any withdrawals yet. Will I be ok? I was taking methadone from a neck injury, now I need another surgery on my neck and can't have any methadone in my system. When will it be out of my blood? I take 30mg of methadone for 2 ruptured disc's L4,L5 along with 40mgs of hydrocodone for 5years now,I have been getting the mallinckrodt but this time pharmacy gave me the asc116 round tabs and I noticed my pain breaking through sooner and having to take them early than the mallinckrodt.Was wondering if there was a difference in them I thought by law they would have the same milligrams in them. ## Hello, James! I agree with most that methadone is a great drug for those with pain, or past addicts, but its also the worst drug you can become dependent upon because of the 6 month detox time which I can tell you first hand you would rather die by a slide of razor blades. I started taking methadone on the streets after I got hooked on oxys after a serious back injury and multiple surgeries. I then moved to North Carolina and started at a Clinic, yr later moved back to Florida and went to a doctor who prescribed me them at the time 40mg pills were still on the market, then the DEA took them off and the only one you could get were 10mg pills, so I went from getting 100 40mg to 400 10mg which sounds insane. I have been on 50 mg of methadone tid for a 3 months after 2 years years on 40mgs tid. I am also on 2-3 30 mg oxycodone for breakthrough and 100mg ms contin bid. I have reached this stage due to tolerance after 8 years of use for 9+ pain due L3, L4, and 3 cervical herniations, and spinal stenosis. I am also on 1mg of clorazepam tid. I am not getting relief from the methadone and the Pain Doctor wants to look to lessen my methadone due to QT cardiac delays. My doctor is open to reasoned regimen and that is what I need. I’ve really been struggling when my methadone dose went from 100 mg to 40mg. Barely does anything except I’m not violently ill.
