i want sleeping tablet i am living in bangalore without doctors prescription ## Hi Ravi, There are many different types of sleeping pills on the market that are available over-the-counter as dietary supplements and/or in the form of herbal remedies - commonly found at natural health food stores. Supplementing with melatonin is one viable option, but there are others such as essential oils (i.e. lavender), which can be great for helping a restless body/mind relax at night. I hope this advice helps! Does anyone else have some recommendations to add?

reason perscribed ## I have heard that prolonged used of Meloxicam 7.5 can cause liver problems...is this so? and how long is prolonged use?? I take this med for osteoarthritis and have had no difficulties with it over the past year. ## Well, no one can really say that for sure, any medication that is processed through the liver has the potential to cause liver problems if taken for a long period of time, it really all depends on your body and how sensitive your liver is to such things. In most cases, you will not find a med to treat any certain condition that IS NOT processed through the liver. It is just one of the potential hazards of having to use prescription medications. They all have risks and potential side effects, that is why before approving them, the FDA has to carefully wei...

I am prescribed 15mg of mobic daily I accidentally took another one today the first one was at 0800 am and then I messed up and took one at 6:15 pm. Should I be concerned and should I skip my dose in the morning. I have taking this pill for a few years. ## Hello, Rodney! How are you? Did you experience any adverse affects? You should always inform your doctor of such an occurrence, to be safe, though doing so once it's usually considered a major issue. It can, however, increase the amount and severity of the side effects that you experience, which as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. ## It's usually NOT considered a major issue. I want ti know if the tablet Melmet 500 mg can cause dry cough ## Melmet is a brand name from India for the medication Metformin, commonly sold in the US under the name Glucophage. The most common adverse effect of metformin is gastrointestinal upset, including diarrhea, cramps, nausea, vomiting and increased flatulence. The most serious potential side effect of metformin use is lactic acidosis; this complication is very rare, and the vast majority of these cases seem to be related to comorbid conditions such as impaired liver or kidney function, rather than to the metformin itself. I got a new script for 10mg (pink k56) Oxycodone. As soon as I put them in my mouth they started to dissolve. Is that because they are generic or are they fakes somehow? ## Hello, Elaine! How are you? No, the doesn't mean they are fake, so as long as your received them from a licensed U.S. pharmacy they shouldn't be anything to worry about. Some just dissolve easier because the manufacturer uses different inactive ingredients. You can avoid this in the future by swallowing them immediately. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
