Hi... I have been getting irregular periods. This month when i got my periods on the 3rd my doctor gave me regestrone 5 mg and told me to start these after 22nd and to take 2 tablets each day for 5 days. I made a mistake and confused it with another tablet she gave me and started taking these on the 9th that was the 5th day of my period itself. My periods stopped on the 7th day and by now i've already taken 6 of these tablets... I'm really scared as to what will happen if i consumed these so early. Please help. ## My periods were long overdue. I took regestrone 5mg this morning and got my periods within 1 hour. Should i continue regestrone during my periods?

Hi ..I was adviced by my doctor to take regestrone for 5 days so that I can have early periods as I wanted to get my cycle dates changed. I took a plan b one step, then started what I thought was my period a week later (one week early, which I figured was normal). On day 2 of bleeding, I inserted a nuvaring. I had used nuvaring a couple of months prior, but had skipped a month, then inserted a new one. Well, it is now 13 days of straight bleeding. Sometimes light, sometimes heavier period bleeding. I am more annoyed than alarmed. I live in a rural area and have to drive an hour to see a DrDr. I figure it will stop eventually, but I am getting impatient and wondering if I should take the nuvaring outout and use condoms or if this will just prolong it. I am on Sprintec birth control, and I am always bad with taking my pills, and this month I have tried to given myself my period early and I have not had my period. I have had no intercourse/oral and I had to take a pregnancy test last month and it showed up negative and I had a period last month that was slightly worse then my others. I have also had weird things happen like cramps in the morning, and back pain, but I think my back pain is from me getting off my bunk bed is a weird way. I have a question I missed my Dr's appointment and made another one unfortunently I am going to be out of my med (oxycodone) So she wrote out a script for 5 days. When I go back to get the rest of the month worth will my insurance cover it? I have mass health. Hey I've never been on birth control before, this is my first time. I started lo loestrin fe the first day of my period and it seems lighter than usual which my Gyno said is normal but tomorrow would be my third day on it. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and spotting. If you want to be completely safe, you could wait a full 7 days, to be sure. I took accutane as an early teenager and sense then my period cramps got progressively worse I am 20 years old now and I have been put on prescription pain killers for my cramps. I also have had at least one ovarian cyst. From my research it seems that the two could be linked. I am 100% positive that Accutane made my skin highly sensitive (I must wear sun block every day year round or I burst into flames like a vampire). Could it have also cause my severe cramps?
