You just have to find a Vet that can fill that specific prescription. I have gone through several Vets to find the Tussigon cough medication for our dog. I finally found a great Vet that can fill the prescription in their office every 30 days. That's the easiest way to go. ## How many pills and what was the cost? I just picked up 21 pills from my vet and it cost me $55.75. Can I get this filled cheaper anywhere? ## Thanks for the helpful feedback Jeri! If you'd be so kind, please also feel free to share your message in the existing Tussigon discussion threads so that others who may also be searching for this treatment will have a chance to read it and/or respond at: 1. tussigon hycodan 5mg for dogs 2. tussigon for dog problems @Barbara, I think the cost may vary from pharmacy to...

Cough substitute for tanna. presscripion date 2.2 2009. can I take it today for a cough or should I throw it out ? ## Hi molly, There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. I don't know if the drug you have happens to be one of these drugs from the st...

I have diabetes type 2 and am on metformin, metoprolol, potassium atorvastatin - can I take this cough medicine? ## I suggest you check with the prescribing doctor, or your pharmacist to make sure they are aware you are a diabetic. Hi my three year old son gets viral nd cold cough very frequently. dis time the duration was 20 days. he is now suffering frm viral again. his immunity is very weak. what should i do to increase his immunity. he is always on some or the other medicine. ## Frequent colds and such are normal for children, since they frequently put things in to their mouths and associate with other children that may be carrying it. There's really not much you can do to change it, except for being careful to not take him around sick people and to make sure to clean and sterilize his toys and such. Have you consulted his doctor to make sure something more serious isn't going on?

I started taking Coveram last December 2017 and after 1 week i developed cough which I find very disturbing. The effect of it was exemplary and just maintained my BP but the cough is really my concern. Just this March, my follow up check up, I talked to my Doctor and raised my concern regarding the cough. Is it OK to take cefalixin cefalin for a cough with stiky plegm ang yellowish color.? ## This is an antibiotic and will only help with bacterial infections. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Not all yellowish phlegm is indicative on an infection, so it would be best to have a doctor evaluate your issues. It could just be your body fighting off a cold, or allergic stimuli.
