Is it ok to take telma h along with homeopathy medicine as I am reading not an encouraging use of this drug. Jaspaul Sandhu Father ## Hi, Jas! Unfortunately, without knowing more specific details on the homeopathic remedy he's taking, I can't really provide you with any information. I'd need to know the actual ingredients to check for any possible problems or interactions. The Telmisartan in the Telma H is commonly given to help protect the kidneys and support their function, especially in people that are diabetic or who have other conditions that may predispose them to kidney damage. I am 23 years old. I had a kidney stone and was given an injection 'Mikastar 500 mg' for 5 days. The stone came out through urination automatically after few days. After 15 days of that I got light pain in my left testicle. For that again I visited the physician and he prescribed me 'Deecee Forte' tablet for three weeks. It is still continued. I had little swelling and light pain in the testicle. After taking the prescribed medicine for 2 weeks now I feel very weak and loss of appetite. The swelling is reduced. But the testicle is still paining in between. Though the pain is less but I am feeling disturbed and feeling weakness. Please advise me what should I do? ## can i take DEECEE FORTE after breakfast or meal??

Based on the test results of my KFT and lipid profile, I have been prescribed Nefrosave alongside other medicine. My creatnine is 1.3. How long will I have to take this medicine? ## Serum creatinine 1.6. Microalbuminuria. Hypertension ## Hello ramavtar, I hope you are having a great day. Short term, you should continue taking this medication for as long as the doctor instructed. what particular ailment does renalin capsule cure? I am suffering from UTI because I used to eat salty foods. Can I take this medicine? ## Hi Mayie, sorry to hear about the UTI. From what I have gathered, Renalin is a combination of four herbs that are supposed to support kidney wellness. The ingredients are reported to be: [1] Orthosiphon aristatus (Balbas Pusa or Cat’s whiskers, a source of essential oils and flavones) - listed in the Philippine Pharmacopeia 1 as a traditional medicinal plant for bacterial and inflammatory diseases of the lower urinary tract and approved by the German Commission E for urinary tract infections and for kidney and bladder stones. Lagerstroemia speciosa (Banaba, a source of corsolic acid) is traditionally used for diabetes, as a diureti...

I have a severe kidney infection, and testing was done ie: xray, ultra sound, to determine if anything worse is going on, but I do not have a doctor's appointment for the results for 1 week. Is this medicine safe for my kidney ? I was prescribed a generic at 100 mg. I am a little concerned about some of the warnings ## Have you contacted your doctor about your concerns? This contains the active ingredient Nitrofurantoin, which is an antibiotic. The current warnings about renal function are actually not conclusive and, if you do have a severe infection, not taking the antibiotic to treat it could be much worse than the possible dangers of using it.

have kidney failure.from ?? possibly? ## was taking naproxen ## Kidney damage, as well as damage to other organs, most notable the liver, is fairly common in anyone who uses these types of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories for long periods of time, especially if you regularly take or exceed the maximum recommended daily dose. Your doctor will have to keep close tabs on the condition of your kidneys from now on, watching for signs of worsening damage or complete failure, they will also not want you taking anymore of these types of medicine that could cause further damage, such as Acetaminopen (Tylenol) or Ibuprofen (Advil.)
