Hello I have been on Amplodipine 5mg tablets for 18 months but my ankles kept swelling up. They have changed my tablets to Losartan Krka 50mg which I did not take as I thought they made a mistake by giving me 50mg tabs instead of 5mg. The doctor has now said that it is ok to take 50mg as it is the same as the 5mg tabs just a different make .I am not sure about this can you please confirm this is correct I know live in Cyprus and I know of many mistakes that have been made here.. Why do Pristiq only come in 100 or 50 mg tablets. I have to take 150mg daily and i am therefore having to pay for both scripts each month which is rather costly. ## Studies have shown that even though it is safe to take pristiq in doses greater than 100 mg it has shown no increased effectiveness. My wife suffers from MS. She works at a local hospital and i`ve found she has tablets she has `borrowed` tucked away at home. She has codein, diazapam and oxazapam. how long will darvon tablets keep? ## Hello, Skoshilady! How are you? Darvon is not safe to take and the best thing to do would be to dispose of it. All medications containing Propoxyphene were removed from the market several years ago, due to the risk they caused of cardiac dangers, as well as an inordinate number of overdose deaths. It's a dangerous medication to take. The FDA lists this as having been a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
