Cal d3 calcium supplement with vitamin d3 tablets ## Hi, Treasure! Did you have a specific question about this supplement? Both Calcium and D3 are vital to your overall health, but they can also be dangerous if you take too much, so you do have to be careful. There are also certain medical conditions that they may be contraindicated with and certain medications they can affect, so you should always check with your doctor, before taking them. If you don't need, because you aren't deficient then it may not be the right thing for you to take, because the D3 will basically potentate the calcium, which makes it quite easy for you to develop hypercalcemia.

used for rat poisoning in humans ## It's sad to see things were to scared to test on ourselves being tested on animals; even rats. In the case of supplements or Vitamin K in this instance, you never know exactly what they do in their testing facilities to ensure it works the way they want it to work. Word of advice: Get your vitamins and minerals from whole fresh ripe raw organic fruits and vegetables, and you can be assured you are getting plenty of what you need if you incorporate this eating habit on a regular basis. You are also doing the rats (and other animals) a favor by not supporting and buying into these failed products. ## Vitamin K is an essential nutrient that is vital for calcium metabolism, blood clotting, heart health and much more. Usually the blood thinner called C...

I am taking this vit. @50,000 units per week. Why would my Dr, want me to take this dosage for 5 weeks? ## My physician ordered this high dose because my blood reading was low AND a CT scan revealed Osteoporosis of my spine..... I had no symptoms . I was told the pills would merely stop farther erosion of the spine but would not cure present condition. Was also told it was important to have plenty of Calcium to help absorption of the Vitamin D., which my diet already contained, ## You should ask your doctor if he did a vitamin d level. While that dosage is a 'normal' dose to treat deficiency, unless you have a vitamin d level, that amount of vitamin d may not be nearly enough! You may need FAR more vitamin d in order to correct a vitamin d deficiency, but unless you get a vitami...

Elderly person needs vitamin with following ingredients: Vit. D 400mg, Folic acid 400 mcg., Biotin 300 mcg., Vit. B-12 1,000 mcg., Vit. B-6 100 mg., Selenium 100 mcg., Calcium + D 1,200 mg., Iron 250 mcg., and Vit. C 3,000 mg. Is there any one tablet that comes close to providing these nutrients in these proportions? ## Since most vitamins are over the counter products, there isn't a database that lists all of them and their ingredients. What I'd like to suggest is asking a pharmacist. They usually have a good idea of what's available and can point you in the right direction. Did a doctor say it must be these specific dosages?
