My mom is 68 yrs old and she has constant pain in her joints for this she is taking paracetamol and aceclophenac combination for near about 6 month .is it ok to take it for lifelong or she has to better stop it as she doesn't feel good if she miss one tablet also ## Very sorry about the pain your mother is suffering from. Both Paracetamol and Aceclofenac can cause some risks, if taken regularly for long periods of time, such as increased risk of bleeding, fluid retention, congestive heart failure and liver failure. Thus, she should consult with her doctor to see what would be safest for her to take, if she needs something on a regular and ongoing basis. You can learn more Paracetamol details here and there are more Aceclofenac details here. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I worked in alot of factories in my teens so i started getting RSI along with back ache. So naturally i went to gp who prescribed me co-proxomol and along with each dose take two paracetamols. So after a good few years later, they discontinued co-proxamol due to somebody taking an accidental overdose so that left me stumped. Long story, short 20 years later still have addiction to painkillers with having suffered crohns disease for 8 years and for rest of my life will have it along with few other illnesses i.e. anaemia, cant have kidz, plus a load more but will take up alot of room. ## Hello, Mizz Lucifer! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. What is it that you're addicted to, now? Have you consulted your doctor for assistance? Proper help...

Taken 50mg/day for 2 years with 20mg ameprozol. Last 2 months suffered the faintest tummy ache but it is persistent. Advised to take 40mg Ameprazol by one doctor and to replace with codeine by another. On either paracetamol or codeine after 4 days without diclofenac severe pain and joint stiffness returns. Seems life quality is dependent on Diclofenac so would it be safe to return to using it with the higher ameprozol dose? I've heard of one patient thing 60mg! ## Hello, Guess! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. It really depends on what's causing the stomach problem. If if you have gastritis, you'll need to take the Omeprazole for several months, in order for it to heal and you'll need to stay away from spicy foods, alcohol and the Dicl...

I have searched online and cannot for the life of me find out what this pill is. A friend said he was given them after having knee surgery. Not sure if it helps, but I live in South Korea and I know the pills were prescribed here. ## I am *pretty sure* but NOT 100% that it's ULTRAM. I was prescribed this oblong pale-yellow pill (at a S. Korean hospital) for Fibromyalgia pain..says "JANSSEN" on one side, "T/A" on the other. Unfortunately I couldn't quite understand the doctors broken English. From what I have read about Ultram, it is a "narcotic-like" pain reliever. (I quit taking it.) ## The previous post is on the right track. The tablet being described is Ultracet, containing 37.5 mg tramadol hydrochloride and 325 mg paracetamol. This drug is used for t...

cyclopam long term usage should increase the body weight ? By stopping the usage of cyclopam there is any chance to reduce the over body weight ? ## Hi Yamuna, Based on my research, Cyclopam contains the two active ingredients Dicycloverine + Paracetamol. This medication is listed as having both antispasmodic and analgesic effects, but there are no specific details stating that it can cause weight gain; not even as a side effect. If you are experiencing any abnormalities in your weight, I would also check to see if it could possibly be related to various lifestyle changes, including diet, exercise, stress, etc.. How long have you been taking the Cyclopam for?

I have been taking Advagraf (tacrolimus) 3mg per day and Mycophenalate mofital 750 mg a day for the last 13 months after a liver transplant. I have had tingling in my toes for all of this time. My feet burn, but are not hot to the touch, the feeling in my toes is quite reduced and I also get shooting pays in my feet. I walk ok etc.. but I find it difficult to get to sleep at night without taking painkillers, usually 2 paracetamol. My consultant says it is a small price to pay for a new life. I appreciate that I am now extremely well, but I cant cope with this tingling for the rest of my life! ## Hello, Willow1! How are you feeling? The Advagraf has been known to cause those types of side effects, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, fainting, joint pain and weight gain, as listed ...

I am on several medications and I would like to know if they harm a baby early in a pregnancy. I may be pregnant, less than 3 weeks along (waiting for blood tests) but I am worried that my life-long medications have already harmed the baby if I am in fact pregnant. Is it still too early for the medications to have had an effect? I have cerebral palsy and chronic pain and am on these medications to treat all my symptoms - Tramadol, Ibuprofen, Diazepam, Temazepam, Cetirizine, Paracetamol, Propanolol, Amitriptyline, Oxybutynin and Tranexamic Acid. ## Hi Emma, Quoted below are the pregnancy warnings for each of the 10 drug names that you mentioned in your description. Some are safer than others, but I'd still highly recommend discussing this with your doctor before it's too late to ...
