I took levosulpiride for about 3-4 months continuously for gastroesophageal reflux disorder. After stopping the drug I started feeling depressed. Is it because of using levosulpiride? ## Hello, Paru! For the past year I was taking levosulpiride 25mg, one tablet a day and i was feeling very good. But after 2 months i stopped because i had 2 or 3 bowel movements that were solid. Now I have not had any bowel movements. Can i continue treatment? Please reply.

I am unable to find out if levosulpiride is addictive. I was prescribed this when I was in Costa Rica and it worked great for my dyspepsia nausea. It is classified as a substituted benzamide. I am in Canada and the drug is not available here. I only want to share my experience with this drug levosulpiride. I have taken this tablet levosulpiride for 5 days in combination with rabicip and my stool became loose, motions increased 3 to 4 time a day and in a whole day i was feeling fatigue and tiredness. So on the 6th day i have stopped this drug and my motion and other problems improved. Now I am feeling better. ## I have taken Levosulpride for 15 days. My doctor prescribed it me for 1 month but I started experiencing a milky discharge from my breast and they have become hard and tender to touch. For the last many years I occasionally suffered from anxiety but I did not take any medication. But 4 weeks earlier I consulted Physiatrist and he prescribes me some medication used for SSR serotonin. This medication, instead of improving, causes more anxiety and depression. Someone recommended me Levosulpirede. I consulted with my physiatrist and approved to take me one tablet of 25mg daily. Hi, Recently my mother was prescribed Livpride -25 by doctor for treatment of acidity. When we purchased the drug from chemist, we got Sulpride-25 containint Levosulpride salt. As the name was different, I checked over net and found that a drug with very similar name of salt(Levosulpiride) was an anti psychotic drug. So i went back to the chemist, checking whats wrong, and was given Livpride-25 which has Levosulpiride and was told that it was the actual prescription.
