I am looking for the name of a Laxative. They are hard deep red coloured round pills. Aprox 7mm across. It was a laxative but came off the shelves in the UK about 10-12 years ago. I heard they may have rebranded with a herbal version. They came in a foil blister pack. I think the outer packaging was green and the name began with a N although i cant be sure of this. ## Were they shaped like an american football? There is a medicine for stool softening agent, slightly gentler than a laxative, called colace that matches your description. it is sold over the counter in the USA, and you can research this to see if it matches what you seek.

I took two laxatives yesterday and experienced bad diarrhea that night really late. I experienced the bad diarrhea again in the morning twice. it's a lot and watery. is this normal? ## Hello, Kate! How are you? If you took laxatives, then yes, that can be normal side effects of most of them, as reported by the FDA, that's what laxatives do. You may also experience nausea, stomach cramps and gas. Is there anything else I can help with?

I normally take ibuprofen to take the edge off impacted bowels. laxatives of every type I've taken. Only thing that helps the pain is vicadan/valium but I'm out. I was infected with giardia and irradicated however cousin "blastocystis" exists. I have symptoms of swelling, dysentary, irrative bowel movements'major gas, rumbling of stomach, pounding like sledge hammer on colon. You can actully see it moving up and down, blurred vision, chronic fatigue. I was never sick before except when I ate at a carnival where I contracted giardia and have been sick every since. Hi I don't like swallowing pills,so I'm looking for alternative means to use my laxatives.either inhaling(aerosol or gaseous form) or cream(absorbtion through contact with skinghands).any ideas pls. ## To be honest I actually haven't heard of any type of laxative than can be inhaled or rubbed on through cream. Are these actually real or were you just speaking theoretically? If you're not one to swallow pills, powder laxatives may be the most convenient form to use that I know of, because you can simply stir it into a glass of water or raw juice. Something else to consider is that many types of fruit, such as apple juice also contain a strong laxative effect. However to battle chronic constipation, I'd even suggest combining it with prune juice. I hope this helps!

I have been on Bentyl for about 6 weeks and the constipation is so bad that I have had to take laxatives. I'm seriously thinking of not taking it anymore. ## Hello, Kathy! How are you doing? Has there been any change? Constipation is not a common side effect of this medication, it is actually listed by the FDA as being a very rare one. Have you consulted your medical provider? You may need to try a different medication, this one may not be right for you. Has anyone else experienced this while taking Bentyl? ## I was on bentyl off & on for about four years now & ive been having vision issues . I went to ER for dizziness, light headness & anxiety , blurred vision & headaches . I had MRI done everything was normal but the Dr. informed me that these were serious side eff...

can a laxitev have propoxy in it ## Are you referring to Propoxyphene? No, it is not used in laxatives, at least not in the U.S. and Canada. Propoxyphene is a mild narcotic pain reliever, so it actually usually causes constipation, so quite the opposite problem. Other side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.
