My doctor told me to apply LA Moist Cream and Fulite Cream together. I have acne and I don't understand how to apply these two creams together. I also don't know the right time of day to apply these creams. ## Well, I guess you need to consult with your doctor to know how to use this skin care products because he knows what kind of acne you have and how these products will affect your skin. Anyways for your knowledge, I tell you that generally LA MOIST is used at night before any medication or before sleeping.

If pencillin tablets are kept in fridge and have the gel pac in the bottle, how long will they be good for. My mom has some that have a 2010 date and says they should be okay since kept in fridge. I understand they will have lost some of their potency but will they be toxic? We have both used her antibiotics before past expiration and they worked fine but it has been awhile since I used them and the date has gotten older. ## No, they do not become toxic, but they may have lost most of their efficacy, especially since they were stored in the refrigerator. According to FDA regulations, not only is that too cold for pills, it also creates the risk of moisture increasing how the rate of their degradation. At this point, it would be best to dispose of them, and if an antibiotic is needed, yo...

Hi all, Firstly a disclaimer, if you have just eaten and have a soft stomach, avoid this post. You've been warned. My dentist prescribed a two week regime of Augmentin for minor work that needs to be performed on a tooth. I finished the prescription one week ago. And I still have some odd side effects. Before I started taking this, I had a normal energy level where I could exercise and do my work, etc. Now I have wayyyyyy too much energy and even though I start to feel drowsy at my regular time when I got to bed, I can't fall asleep until 2 -3 hours later. The other effect I've been experiencing are dry lips. This is annoying. There is no change in saliva and my mouth is just as moist as before taking Augmentin. Also during the last three weeks it's been as my appetite h...

is it law that prescriptions be dated for one year from of filling or less expiration if actual date so states or can actual manufacturer dates be used ## HI, Ama! How are you? The expiration date is actually based on test results that show how long a medication remains fully effective once it has been exposed to the elements that can cause degradation, such as heat, light and moisture. Thus, a medication that is still sealed in the original container from the manufacturer may not expire for several years, but once that container has been opened, the shelf life is greatly shortened. So, it is absolutely necessary for the date on the bottle you receive from your pharmacy to be different from the manufacturers date on the original container. Is there anything else I can help with? ## expi...

I know that the Betadine ointment is available with Moisturizer OR with a pain reliever and these 2 products contain Aquaphor which contains Lanolin Alcohol and I'm highly allergic to Lanolin in any form. BUT does the maximum strength ointment also contain Aquaphor? If it does, I wouldn't be able to use it. Betadine ointment was taken off the market several years ago and now it's back - but the formula has been changed. I used it for years without any problems and now I don't know if I can use it again if it also contains Aquaphor. ## I suffer from a blood vessel disorder called Vasculitis. It affects the small blood vessels in both of my feet and legs. I've had this bout for 17 years now. Over a period of years the prescription anti-biotic ointment I'd been usin...

My 66 year old mother went for a knee replacement operation and ended up in icu. She suffered Pulmonary embolism and has moisture on her lungs. She takes eltroxin and premex plus 4mg. The doctor changed her eltroxin to .5mg and changed her blood pressure medication to concor. She now slurs and gets very hypertensive. Is concor a better blood pressure tablet and is it good to change her dossage of eltroxin from 1.mg and 1.5mg every second day to .5mg daily? ## Good morning in September last year my GP put me on to premex (lowest dosage). Since then I have gained 9kgs, no change to my eating or drinking habits, could it be caused by the tablet.
