what is the generc name for it? ## Hello, H! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by the Perrigo Company and they list it as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen in an extended release formulation. It is available over the counter and is most commonly used to treat arthritis pain. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. white, oblong pill solid ## This is Arthritis Pain Relief Extended Release, it contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen. This is an OTC pill. ## Thank you so much. That is what I thought it was, however I had taken all of the previous Arthritis Strength acetaminophen and I just couldn't remember. I hated to waste a pill of any sort...as the cost of medicine gradually increases monthly, just as everything else.

It is not possible to know what it is for sure without that information... ## Sorry folks, the imprinted code sharpened up under 17 degree blue filtered light. Was looking through my meds for Tylenol for arthritis & back pain (deteriorating spinal column) and found a vial of white oblong pills with L583 on one side. Are these Tylenol? ## I found pills meeting that description in my container of Kirkland Acetaminophen 650 mg. (Arthritis Pain relief) pills. ## From what I understand all of the imprints with "L" followed by three digits (e.g. L484, L583, etc) are indicative of various over-the-counter products; often manufactured by LNK International Inc.
