My pharmacist changed my regular amlodipine 5 mg zyd to amlodipine besylate 5 mg which is a much bigger pill. Is this the right dosage? I am thinking of taking it back to the pharmacy...I hate it when they make changes and say nothing! ## It is the same medication, just manufactured by a different company, this is very common with generics. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

I just started Amlodipine Besylate 5 mg TAMYL. What does the TAMYL mean? ## TAMYL just stands for the dosage form and manufacturer, in this case a tablet made by the Mylan pharmaceutical company. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure and angina. Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and muscle aches. About a year ago I started buying propranolol 40 mg from Walmart instead of CVS to save money. The drug company Walmart uses is Pliva. I take this beta blocker for tremors and the effectiveness of the Pliva brand pills seems inconsistent. I am considering switching back to CVS. Anybody else had a similar experience? ## There can be fluctuations from one company to the other, but there shouldn't be with the same dosage from the same company. Who manufactures the ones that CVS carries? Have you tried asking Wal-Mart what they would charge for them?

Normison used to be made by Wyeth, until that company was bought by Pfizer, and in South Africa, by Aspen Healthcare. The liquid filled gelcaps are, I think, only now available in South Africa, and there is one generic I know of, by Sandoz, which is also liquid-filled. Everywhere else the 'eggs' are now a solid gel formulation, introduced to stop an epidemic of people abusing the contents of the capsules, which leads to major blood vessel blockages, causing loss of limbs, and lives. The drug Temazepam does not easily get absorbed in tablet form as the binders used inhibit bioavailability. The alternative is to get prescribed Temazepam oral solution, which is found mostly in 10 mg/5 mL strength. To the person who asked where to find these brand name gelcaps, I would suggest an in...

I am on 10 mg of Amlodipine Besylate. The pill is usually white in color. I pick up my perscription yesterday, open the bottle and the color was blue, one side had A10 and the other side had a M on it. Is the the right medication. Thanks ## Yes, this tablet also contains 10mgs of Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions, it is just made by a different manufacturer, than the one you were previously receiving. Pharmacies will often switch which company they order from, whenever they have to restock their supply, according to who is offering the cheapest price. This enables them to offer these generic medications to you, as cheaply as possible. Are there any other questions? ## Ithe was takeingamlodipinine besylate 10mg tmyl a roundblue...

I got the orange pill with E404. It's from Eon Labs (Sandoz) 30mg. I don't feel the effect as I would on the CorePharma. ## This pill is indeed Amphetamine Salts 30 mg (NDC 0185-0864). One of the possible reasons why you may not be getting the same amount of relief with Sandoz (EON) as you might with Corepharma, is often due to the fact that each manufacturing company uses a different set of binders/fillers (inactive ingredients). This is basically the extra fluff that holds the tablet together. Some companies use more of it than others, and some even go so far as using cheaper genetically modified substances that our body's can't metabolize (yet it's what's covering up the actual active substance, blocking it being released in it's normal therapeutic quanti...

Help me find male star dietary supplements pills phone number because they keep charging me $89.99 without my permission ## Same as Joey Need some type of comunica with Male Star to STOP withdrawing from my Account ## Male Star products do sound like a scam if there is no phone number, webpage or email to reach them - (I haven't been able to find any of those details in my own investigation). But if this company is fraudulently withdrawing money from your accounts, I would probably encourage you to contact your bank or credit card institution asap and inform them so they can put a hold/block on future transactions from that specific company. Have you tried getting in touch with the distributor / store where it was being sold? I was going to add that you may also wish to report them ...

Suboxone aka buprenorphine. Opiate blocker used to treat opioid dependency. ## Just to confirm, a white round pill imprinted with D 155 is identified as 'generic' Buprenorphine hydrochloride 8 mg (base) + Naloxone hydrochloride 2 mg (base). Manufacturer: Actavis Elizabeth LLC Depending on the application form, buprenorphine is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe chronic pain, opioid dependency (as Tweek stated above), and for peri-operative analgesia. I hope this helps anyone who may still be trying to ID this pill! ## For those who find this post. the "D" is not actually a "D" but it is a crescent moon which is the logo of the company. So if you call the pharmacy asking about a "D", they cannot find it. It is a crescent moon on one side and...

M 18 ## Well that is a loaded question. There are many, many generic drug manufacturing companies, and each company that makes these pills will make one that looks different and has different markings. There are no laws or rules that say all drugs with the same active ingredient have to look the same, they just have to have unique imprint markings for ID purposes, but how the pill looks, the size, shape, and color, is totally up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Now, that said, this pill is NOT Amitriptyline anyway. Pill Image This pill is Metropolol 25mgs, a generic Lopressor, which is used to reduce the workload on the heart. It is a beta-blocker.

Have been taking Eliquis 5 mg 2x day for almost 3 months. Seem to be having Stomach Pain, Abdominal Swelling, Bloating, Gas, Facial Swelling and lots of weight gain and water retention. Also brain fog and memory problems. (It's hard to tell how much of this is from Eliquis and how much from CHF associated with A-Fib. Also taking Beta Blocker and Digoxin.) Eliquis has been out long enough for the pharmaceutical company (BMS) to put out a REVISED list of side-effects, to reflect real-life patients' experiences. Wonder if they have done so, or when they'll do so? Am probably going to switch to Xarelto and stop the Eliquis, in hopes that the Xarelto will cause fewer problems. ## You might want to rethink that decison, Afibber. I was getting a orange and white capsule made by TEVA and the capsule was orange on one side and white on the other and marked with TEVA and 7371. This is amlodipine-benazapril 5-10, like Lotrel 5-10. I went to have my prescription refilled and they gave me a completely orange capsule with the letter I (as in indigo) on one side and the number 97 on the other. What is this capsule and who makes it? I cannot find it anywhere on the internet. ## Okay I figured it out so I am replying to my own post. The capsules I was given were made by the "new kid on the block" known as aurobindo pharmaceuticals, which is a company in India that not too long ago got FDA approval to manufacture the Amlodipine Benazepril 5-10 that I am taking, and other combinations as well. I've taken Roxicodone for 6 years. This month is the first time I've gotten these. They're just made by a different company. I just took one and they made my pain where I could stand it. I've always gotten the big blue pill marked with 224 or the M blocks or the a215 and these are just as strong as all the others ones! ## Just out of curiosity, what makes you insinuate that they're fake if they work so well? Round blue generic Oxycodone hcl 30mg tablets imprinted with "cor" over "226" on one side and scored on the back, are depicted as legitimate pills made by Corepharma. I guess it all depends on where or who you got them from, because I personally wouldn't trust anything that wasn't dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Nevertheless, I'm gla...
