I have been on percocet 10/325. My little two new generation pharmacy has been closed since Thursday due to the holiday I am out of percocet can i take my hydrocodone 10/325 until late I can get my prococet? I have been on Norco 10/325 for 7 years for chronic pain and disc problems. Needless to say they quit working. Dr just switched me to Percocet 10. To answer your question though, YES, the 10mgs of Oxycodone contained in Perocet 10/325 is reported to be more potent than 10mgs of Hydrocodone in Norco 10/325. As to how much stronger it is, answers do vary... but from what I've researched, it's analgesic effects appear to be about 1.5-3x stronger. has tylenol been taken out of lortab 10/500 ## It hasn't been taken out, but reduced because of the effects on the liver. ## FDA now requires all prescription meds to have no more than 325 mg of tylenol in each dose. There is a form of Hydrocodone that does not contain tylenol. I have a damaged SI joint in my back from a car accident 12 years ago and also have fibromyalgia. I've recently noticed something and I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I've taken hydrocodone mainly for pain, usually 7.5 mg, but sometimes 10 mg. They make the pain tolerable but never seem to last long. I recently tried Watson 749, which I'd never heard of before, but they are percocet 5 mg. Both these and the hydrocodones I've taken had 325 mg acetaminophen in them. These 749 are awesome! My doctor gave me Percocet 7.5-325..Half a tablet twice a day, doesn't seem to be working well with my breakthrough pain. I'm also on 30mg of morphine 2x daily. I have been taking norco for about ten years now and I now have a tolerance to it. For the norco to work for me I have to take more pills than what my doctor can prescribe. So I have run out of my Norco and my doctor prescribed me Percocet 7.5/325, but since I have never taken it before he said to only take 4 in 24 hours and see if it will work.
