Hi i am 22 yrs old and I started having periods at the age of 12 yrs. Since menarche I am having these irregular periods with heavy flow.at first my periods are not there for 2 to 3 months and than when it comes it goes on for a month or even longer till I have taken some medicine for it to stop.i have used oral contraceptive pills in order to regulate my cycle but it didn't seem to be of much use.recently a gynaecologist said that maybe I am a milder case of pcos and she put me on diane 35 and metformin.
