Hi, I am trying to find a pm that doesn't require injections. I've had every kind and the last 4 or 5 put me in the hospital because of heart and diabetes. Now current pm ended up with legal trouble because of her husband. Next thing I know she's saying my urine came up with methadone, which is impossible I've never ever taken it. She cut me back instead of released me. But if she really thought i was screwing up I bealive she would have released me. So before I'm left without I need a new compassionate doc in New Jersey. I am 50 with multiple issues that all cause pain. ## Methadone clinics can do wonders for you why not give that a try best of luck

I can't find a pain managment dr in nj that takes medicaid and I need my morphine in a week my Dr doesn't take medicaid after 7 yrs I need a new dr ## Hello, Rosie! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. Have you tried asking your doctor if they can refer you to someone else? That might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Alternatively, you may want to call Medicaid and see if they have a list of doctors in your area that accept it. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? ## I have done all that and yes I know I have...

I'm having a hard time finding a pain management dr in New Jersey, I'm wiling to travel to Philly. I've been on my medicine since 2008, my doctor just suddenly stopped writing my scripts, now what. No one wants to write for what I been on and I don't know what to do. Does anyone know of a dr that can help me please!! ## Hello, Becca! How are you? Part of the problem may be due to your asking them to write for certain medications. If you're asking that, before you go in for an appointment and establish a relationship with the doctor, they're going to view that as being drug seeking behavior. Is there a chance that the doctor that was prescribing could refer you to someone? That might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone suggest a g...

He has 2 offices one in NYC and one in Westchester. I had the same thing happen to me my dr retired after 10 years gave me the name of the doctor I went and have been on the same qty of 30mg for over a year now. ## If you need a dr I will help you. Just don't know if I should be putting it on this forum. I have the perfect doctor. I get 360 a month and the same thing happened to me, my dr retired and it took me over 6 doctors to find this one. ## Would you be willing to share your doctor? {edited for privacy}

I need a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. My doctor recently took me off of 30mg oxycodone because I tested "negative" for oxycodone because I lost my prescription that month. I was seeing him for 2 years. I have a serious back problem - 4 discs are herniated and 1 disc is GONE. Most doctors just want to refer me to a orthopedic doctor to get surgery. I DONT WANT SURGERY I am too young!! If you know of a doctor in NJ that will write oxycodone 30mg please email me {edited for privacy}. Thanks! ## Hi, Frank! I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. However, if surgery is a possible solution that would end your suffering, there is no such thing as being too young for it. It would do you far greater harm over the long term to keep taking n...

Hi I need a new pain dr in northern nj. I lost mine after there years for rescheduling my apt three times? Anyways I'm on a lot of meds that need to be refilled ASAP. I've talked to a lot of places that have no Rx on first visit or need to see a psych first. I just need to get in to see a dr and then I can worry about that later ## Hello, Ali81! How are you? Yes, that makes sense. Most doctors do limit how many times you can reschedule or miss appointments. Their practices tend to be very busy and there is a limited number of people they can see. Each missed appointment without much notice means money lost for that time slot. And, if you're calling and asking upfront about them prescribing medications, then most won't even let you get in the door, because doctors and the...

I am looking for a pain doctor that will prescribe roxicodone 15 or 30. I was laid off and lost my insurance and my current doctor doesn't do cash. So I need to find a New doctor that does. I have legitimate pain and have managed to take my meds as prescribed. If anyone has any info on a doctor that is near Philly or anywhere in NJ. I appreciate the help and if anyone would like the name of my old doctor who took insurance I can give it to you. I had filled my regular oxycodone 30 mg script 2 and a half weeks ago. I have another script that is for oxycodone 10mg. In NJ is it going to be a problem to get it filled? They are different strengths but I don't want it to be an issue. ## There's a new pharmacy in Kearny NJ that said they guarantee to be able to fill any and all prescriptions. Care Fast Pharmacy 124 Schuyler Ave. Kearny NJ 07032 201-991-2569 ## I don't know about jersey I'm in pa. But as long as the script is written differently it shouldn't be a problem as long as UR insurance covers it if u have ins I take another drug for narcolepsy and my ins would only pay for three 200 mg pills a day but my Dr wants me on 4 pills so he writes 2 RX One for 200mg 3 a day and one for 100 mg 2 a day to make up fo...

im looking for a doctor that priscribes methadone. i dont want to go the clinics. suboxone does not work for me and i really want to get off of oxycodone. my boyfriend has been clean for 4 months now. and from my car accident and i also have nerve damage, it makes it harder for me to get off, because im in so much pain. i tryed many times to stop, but i cant handle the pain. i lost everyone i loved and i dont want to lose my boyfriend to. ## I am very sorry, but if you are looking for something outside of the setting of a clinic, there is really no way to know what doctor would be willing to prescribe it. When it comes to addiction treatment, most doctors will not provide such treatment outside of a clinic, because they do have to follow certain laws and treatment protocols, in order to...

I'm having a hard time finding a doctor that will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in New Jersey. I have already had 2 back surgeries as well as numerous IV's and still with no relief. I have degenerative disc disease, 3 herniated discs and one completely gone. I'm in constant pain and nothing helps. I was seeing a doctor that was prescribing 90-180 oxycodone 30mg for almost a year until one day he up and closed his practice with no notice. I have always taken my medication AS PRESCRIBED but still no doctor will prescribe anything stronger then 800mg Motrin or just want me to have more surgery. I'm 33 years old with 2 young children and not interested in having more surgeries. I just want to live as normal a life as possible. ## Unfortunately, if you're not going to explore ...

Just input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; as some aren't, but most usually are. I live in Colonia NJ and I'm currently going to a clinic to get methadone. The clinic is severely interfering with my daily life. Are there any private doctors in NJ that will prescribe Methadone? I'm not looking for a suboxone doctor. Thank you ## The Methadone addiction treatment laws actually fall under federal regulations and all of them require periodic clinic visits for the patients. Private doctors are actually not allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment, because they can't provide the same supervision and do not have the same training those in the clinic setting do. Therefore, you'll always have to use a clinic and there will always be a limited time period for which you can get take home doses. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Their is a doc...

I am new here but have stalked for years and always read posts but now im here to get a legit answer, so here it is. I see a pain doctor in NY and fill it in NY, now if i was to fill a script from a doctor in NY but filled it in NJ would i get flagged? Will my regular pain doctor find out that i filled a script in NJ? Bottom line is do NY and NJ share prescription information? And again everything I've researched states NJ has no sharing with NY YET but it is soon to come. Thank you and anyone who knows about this please share because I'm losing it. ## I honestly don't know exactly how their system works, but from related stories I've seen posted here on multiple occasions, I speculate that all the pharmacies (and/or?) doctors nationwide have access to a common database ...

My mom has joint problems, especially in her knees. A doctor has advised her to take this injection called Syn-Vise. Somebody has made her worry saying that it has sort of diabetic side effects and might cause sort of blood sugar problems. Would this be true? She is not diabetic. But will this injection increase the risk of messing out with blood sugar level or so?? Olease advise. ## On Dec 7th on the Right knee and Dec12on Lefr knee I received I njections of Syn-Vise for Severe knee pain, Since them I have had a problem with dizziness, headaches and being very shakey Could this be a side effect from the Synvise??

I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis 8 years ago. I also have no L5S1 disc in my spine from an old car accident. I have chronic/constant neck spasms from the MS as well as from the spine spasms. I have tried valium, gabepenton, lyrica and flexeril. I had trigger point injections in my neck/shoulders. No relief at all. My Neuro wants to do another trigger point injection himself. But what is that going to do for the spasms in my back and the ones I get in my legs from time to time? He will not prescribe ANY pain medications. I requested Vicodin, since I had a short prescription from a busted blood vessel in my hip from my MS injectable medication that messed me up pretty bad. I actually felt half normal! It was great because I didn't feel "dopey", I was...

Can someone please guide me in the right direction for a private methadone doctor in NJ? I was going to a clinic and owe them way too much money from nonpayment. My max dose was 40 mgs and I've been dropped to 10 mgs in 4 days. I need a doctor asap. Thanks! ## Dear glor, if you r on methadone due 2 addiction, it's against the law 4 doctors 2 give out methadone. If it's 4 pain management, some Doctors will give it out. GOOD LUCK! ## By law you have to go to a Methadone Clinic if you're taking Methadone for substance abuse. If someone is taking it for pain management, they will need their medical records from the previous dr. There will also have to be diagnostic test results/diagnosis in the medical records. ## Need doctor in north jersey that proscribes methadone ## Sure...
