My mom just got her pain medicine and it says A 40 on it and I can't find an image anywhere so I can make sure they're ok to take. ## If your mom just got her prescription filled at a licensed pharmacy, she should have received it in a normal prescription bottle with a label attached. I find it very alarming that this information would be absent. I did locate a white capsule-shaped pill marked with "A 40" that reportedly contains a combination of Acetaminophen (325mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (10mg), made by KVK-Tech. NDC: 10702-0191 Do you happen to know the color and shape of the pill in question? ## I got the same pill i found in my car did you find out what it is?

Heard rumors that this pill does not work as well as other brands. ## Hello, John! How are you? The tablet with the 176 marking is manufactured by Caraco Pharmaceuticals and by their image and description, it should be white, oblong, scored on one side with the 176 pressed into the opposite side and 13.00mm in size. white oblong with imprint m357 and a line on other side ## Hydrocodone 5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. ## Hello, Just wanted to add a minor correction to the dosage strength listed in post #1. A white oblong pill marked M357 actually contains 5mg of Hydrocodone + "500mg" of Acetaminophen, made by Mallinckrodt. For verification, this particular tablet also carries a National Drug Code of 00406-0357. Having said that, I'm a little doubtful about whether this pill is still being made, considering that 325mgs of Acetaminophen is the new maximum dose that's allowed in prescriptions. Hope this helps! ## David, Thanks. I apologize for my error ## No worries BL! I appreciate the helpful content you post throughout the site!

white caplit with LO14 ## Products marked with an L as the logo on the pill ARE NOT prescription drugs of any kind. They are over the counter products manufactured by LNK Internation. They do all OTC products which are produced for various stores and sold as their generics or store brands. So this is NOT Hydrocodone. Pill Image This is a store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol, nothing more than 500mgs of Acetaminophen.

What is the difference between these pills imprinted with 176 and m367? I've taken both pills and m367 doesn't seem to be as strong. ## @Arita, From what I could gather, both pills in question reportedly contain a 10/325 mg dose of Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen.
